*Saturday: The Day of the Party*
"Pisces, are you sure you're going to be safe at this party?" My mom asked me for the millionth time. I sighed and looked at her. I already had my dress and shoes on. All that I needed to do now was do my hair and makeup.
"Mom, I'll be fine. It's a little party with just my friends and I. It's not the entire school." I reassured her. She still looked hesitant but soon she smiled.
"Well alright then. I trust you Pi." She said while ruffling my hair. I grinned at her.
"Thanks for trusting me mom." I said. She smiled again and left the room for me to get started on my look. I decided to brush my teeth first and then do my hair then makeup. I wondered what the others would show up looking like.
'Probably stunning.' I thought.
I had just hoped that I would look pretty too. I knew for sure that I wanted to impress Scorpio. But was it even worth it? He obviously wasn't getting any of my hints and it was getting to be a real pain.
I brushed my teeth and left the bathroom to go back into my room. I decided to curl my hair so that I could have cute long and bouncy curls. After I finished my hair, I used hairspray so that the curls were less likely to fall during the party. Although I knew that they would fall eventually anyway. It was hairspray not miracle spray.
Next was makeup. I grabbed my makeup bag that I rarely used. I never was a huge makeup person. I always thought I was cuter natural. But it wouldn't hurt to look a little different for the party. And different isn't always bad. I pulled out the basic things that I would use. Such as concealer, foundation, eyeliner, mascara, blush and lipgloss. It sounded like a lot. Since I never really wore makeup, I had to go on a makeup tutorial on YouTube to see how everything is done.
I felt like an idiot for having to rely on YouTube but there's always a first time for everything. You see, I wasn't an idiot and I knew how to put on makeup, but the fact was that I needed to know how to apply it better than usual.
I followed the girls instruction on a simple elegant look. Once I was finished, I stared at myself in the mirror. I did look a little different. But it was beautiful. I looked beautiful. (Love yourself with and without makeup) I smiled to myself and grabbed my phone and placed it in my handbag and headed downstairs to show mom how I looked.
She was waiting for me downstairs and once she saw me, her eyes lit up. She even cracked a big smile.
"Awe look how beautiful my baby looks!" She cooed.
"I'm not a baby mom." I giggled.
"Of course not. But you'll always be my baby." She said grinning from ear to ear.
"Yeah that's true. Let's go mom!" I said excited. Mom grabbed her car keys and I gave her the address to drive to. We hopped in the car and started making our way towards Sagg's house.
My belly felt weird and my heart pounded in my chest. I was nervous. And I obviously knew why. But at the same time I was excited. Because I would see Scorpio all dressed up and he would see me all dressed up as well.
Would he like the way I look? Or would he think I looked weird and not like myself? I gulped nervously.
'Just got to keep holding on to hope.' I told myself.
