Making Senpai Notice Me (Pisces x Scorpio)

"You guys are going shopping today?" Asked Gemini as we all sat in the grass in the front of the school. It was the morning and class hadn't even started yet. We were all a little early in getting to school. We have the buses to thank for that.

"Yeah!" Replied Cancer happily.

"I wish I could go shopping with you." Capricorn pouted. I looked her way and raised my eyebrow.

"Why can't you?" I asked her.

"Chores at home need to be done. Mom says I'm a little late on doing them." She giggled. I laughed with her.

"What color dresses are you guys going to wear?" Asked Libra.

"Well mine will be Aqua marine. No doubt about that." I said surely. I looked at Cancer.

"And Cancer's dress is going to be a pretty lilac. Doesn't that just sound cute?" I grinned.

"Ugh enough about dresses!" An annoyed looking Aries sighed.

"Yeah we wanna know about dates!" Taurus said. Aries looked at him oddly.

"Hey I'm curious!" He defended himself.

"Dates? Uhh." I said looking at the ground. I pictured Scorpio as my date. But did we really need a date? It wasn't like it was an actual formal party. It was just a hang out party. Still, I could imagine him slow dancing with me and then slowly leaning in and- Pisces enough!!

I shook those thoughts away. I didn't want to be blushing and then have all of my friends see.

"I don't have a date." Cancer said shyly. Aqua looked up from his book and stared at her. She felt his eyes on her and she immediately blushed and turned away from his stare.

"You don't have a date at all?" Aqua questioned her. She shook her head no.

"Well neither do I. So you won't be alone." Aqua nervously chuckled. Leo hit him on the arm.

"What I mean to say is -uh- will you maybe want to um go with me? If not that's totally fine. I understand. I won't be hurt or anything." He rambled on. Cancer giggled and nodded her head.

"I would love to go with you, Aqua." She said happily.

"Awe how sweet!" Cooed Virgo. She adored romances. Everyone knew that about her.

"Pisces is still alone though." Said Gemini.

"Guys it's okay. Really." I said.

"Um Pi? If you like, I can take you. We can go as a friendly date if it makes you feel better." Said Taurus. I widened my eyes. Did he really ask me? I was really flattered but  I wished that Scorpio would have asked me. I looked at Scorpio and saw him on his phone typing away.

'He wasn't even paying attention?!' I thought to myself. I looked back at Taurus.

"Sure. You did ask me first after all. A friendly date sounds nice." I smiled.

It was true after all. He did ask me first, not Scorpio. It was sweet of Taurus to ask anyway.

Taurus grinned and punched the air excitedly.

"Wow I'm surprised Scorpio didn't ask you." Cancer leaned in and whispered to me.

I nodded my head.

"I know." I whispered back.

"Hey what's with all of the whispering?" Questioned Aries.

"Uhh no reason." I said nervously. Then the bell rang and I was so happy for that.

"You got lucky this time but remember. We still have a class together and I will find out your secret." He squinted his eyes at me but then laughed. I held my breath.

"Just kidding Pi." He laughed. I exhaled deeply and chuckled nervously.

We all said goodbye and headed in different directions.

"Earth to Scorpio!" I called out as we walked in the halls together. He was still on his phone. He seemed startled and stared at me once he snapped out of his phone trance.

"Sorry. I think I'm addicted to my game." He laughed. I giggled with him but it felt fake to me. He didn't ask me to be his date when he had the chance because he was playing a game on his phone. Seriously? But I laughed anyway. I didn't want us to argue again. I didn't want to lose him now that we are close.

I reached out and grabbed his hand and gave it a squeeze. He squeezed back and the warmth spread throughout my body. I couldn't help but to think I made the wrong decision in saying yes to Taurus. But he said it was a friendly date so I figured it was no big deal.

But no matter what I told myself, I still wanted Scorpio to be the one who would be my date and continue giving me these warm fuzzy feelings in my chest.
