Chapter 22 Hive

"What do you mean by he walked off?" Raven asked Starfire.

"He said, she stays or I stay. Then I said, I'm not going to make that choice Damian. Then he said, I'll make it for you, and walked off," Starfire's face saddened.

"So why didn't you stop him?" Jaime asked.

"It's not-" Starfire paused in her tracks and stared at the window, "-DUCK!"

Everyone dropped as a missile came shooting threw the tower.

"We need so much more renovation!" Garfield complained as he ducked under a computer.

Wally ran and grabbed Garfield, then Jaime, then Raven and pulled them into his room.

He charged towards the door to grab another person but slammed into a big body.

"Ow!" He complained as he backed away from a big man.

"Sup children. Welcome to the Mammoth party!" Mammoth cheered.

The four backed away from the door rather quickly and took cover in different areas.

"Azareth Metrion Zenthos!" Raven said quickly, hitting Mammoth in the face with dark energy.

"You goin' down!" Garfield cried as he turned into a gorilla and jumped Mammoth, knocking him out of the doorway.

Raven charged out of the room, leaving Jaime and Wally still inside.

A much MUCH smaller person entered the room.

"Robo-Baby," Jaime giggled at Gizmo.

"HEY! MY NAME IS GIZMO!" Gizmo yelled. He threw some missiles at them as they ducked for cover under Wally's bed.

"Baby's got a missile," Wally laughed.

"HEY!" Gizmo yelled as he dropped a robot under the bed.

Jaime shot plasma at the robot and jumped out from under the bed, turning his hands into swords and sword fighting with Gizmo's robo-tentacles.

Wally sped out of the room but was stopped by a man, who duplicated around him, forming a circle of himself around Wally.

"Uh..."

"Now, which one of us looks most dangerous?" Billy Numerous yelled as his circle of himself tumbled Wally.

Starfire dodged another laser from See-More and shot plasma at his eye.

"AH!" He yelled in pain as he felt his eye. Terra jumped by and knocked him down.

Nightwing dodged pink energy from a girl named Jinx. Raven created a sphere around her, trapping her inside.

Beast Boy knocked out Mammoth and turned and watched Blue Beetle destroy Gizmo's tech, leaving a hopeless mini-teenager on the ground.

Nightwing and Starfire began to pull Billy Numerous' off of Wally, allowing Wally to knock out the fake Billy's.

The Team exchanged some expressions.

"Who are you?" Dick grunted as he grabbed Gizmo and pinned him to a wall, "and who are your friends?!"

"I'M GIZMO!" Gizmo confessed.

"Don't tell him!" Jinx yelled from the inside of Raven's energy ball.

"Tell me, or you won't speak again," Dick said darkly.

"He doesn't mean that, right?" Garfield whispered to Jaime. The boys continued to stare in a scared expression.

"OKAY!" Gizmo cried, "WE WORK FOR HIVE!"

Jinx face palmed as Dick smiled.

"Knew it was planned," he smirked as he dropped Gizmo.

"Who are you working for, specifically?" Raven asked calmly.

"Slade," Terra grunted out of nowhere, "ATTACK!" She yelled as all the Hive members jumped up and started attacking the Titans.

Gizmos suit reappeared. Jinx blasted through Raven's dark energy ball. Mammoth shot up. Billy Numerous multiplied. See-More held his eye. The plasma Starfire had hit him with vanished and See-More stood up. Terra brought rocks around her hands and got ready to fight.

"Terra..." Garfield spoke with soft words, "I thought..."

"Robin was right," Raven said, "Terra's against us!"

Raven realized the situation, "Nightwing, come with me!"

"Why me?" He asked.

"You know where Robin would go," she replied. She said quickly as she grabbed Nightwing and teleported off to find Damian.

"Guess we're on another Robin hunt," Jaime said.

"We have bigger issues right now," Starfire said as the Hive charged.
