Twitter Girl (Out Now!)

*Avery's POV*

I was sitting in school like any other normal day listening to the teacher talking. I could feel the stares of the girls around me, the popular girls that never payed attention to me before I started dating Zayn. When the bell rang I stood up to leave but Catherine, the most popular girl in the school, and her snotty friends sorrounded me.

"Can you give this to Liam for me please?" Catherine asks handing me a piece of paper

"Are you serious?" I ask "You know he's in a relationship right?" 

"Yeah I know, I figure though that maybe the same thing that happened to you can happen to me," she says "I mean if you can get a member of One Direction I figure so can I," 

"Yeah well sorry I know the guys very well and I don't think they go for stupid fake boobed bimbos," I say throwing the paper back in her face and walking away

"Your going to pay for saying that!" Catherine yells after me

"I'm so scared. Shaking in my boots," I say with as much sarcasm in every word that I could muster

As I walk away I can feel the glares boring into the back of my head, so that's why I casually lifted my hand held up my middle finger and smiled. I heard the clicking of heels on the floor behind me moving fast so I rounded the corner and shoved my way into a random classroom. Looking around I saw it was the science room. I heard the clicking heels rounding the corner so I quickly ducked into closet and shut the door behind me. 

Too bad the lights are automatic and come on when I stepped inside because what I saw next I really didn't need to see. My History teacher, Miss Simons and my science teacher, Mr. Frogarty both just in undergarments Miss Simon's glasses askew and her hair all over the place. 

"I'm.....just going to leave now," I say opening the closet door and then closing it behind me

I walk out of the classroom quickly and run to my car and see Ocean standing there waiting for me. 

"Where have you been? I've been waiting for like five minutes," she says

"I'm sorry the pops cornered me and then I saw something rather unflattering," I say unlocking the car and climbing in

"Wait what? Start from the beginning," she says

And so I do. I tell her about how I was approached by the pops and how I walked in on Miss Simons and Mr. Frogarty.

"Seriously? Miss Simons and Mr. Frogarty? Tha'ts just gross," she says shaking her head

"Tell me about it. At least you didn't have to see Mr. Frogarty in his underwear," I say trying so disparetly not to throw up.

I pulled into my driveway and climbed out of my car and together Ocean and I walked into the house. 

"Ocean Avery thank God you guys are home," my mom says walking up to us

"Mom? Why are you home? What's wrong? What happened?" I ask, panic rising throughout my whole body

"Avery your father's building was robbed. The robbers are holding people hostage, your father being one of them," she says, tears streaming down her face

As the words come out of her mouth they sound like they're coming from a distance and then everything goes blurry from my tears and I numbly and blindly walk up the stairs to my room and collapse on my bed. 

"Avery?" I hear Zayn's voice coming from my doorway

I don't answer I just lay on my bed staring at the ceiling. I hear his footsteps crossing the floor and the bed dips and his arms wrap themselves around my waist.
