"10....9....8...7...6...5.....4...3...2...1! Happy New Year!" We all yelled as the ball dropped

Zayn grabbed me and pulled me in close planting a kiss on my lips.

"Alright alright you two that's enough," my mom says

I pull away from Zayn and feel my cheeks filling with blood as the blush rises.

"Alright everyone to bed now we have a early morning," my dad says

I nod give Zayn a good night hug and kiss and Ocean and I walk up the stairs to my room, we didn't go to real ball drop this year because we didn't want totals the risk of Zayn being trampled.

I changed into my Jammies and layed down in my bed and pulled the covers up close to my face and snuggled down.

"Are you ready?" Ocean asks

"Ready as I'll ever be," I say with a big sigh

I close my eyes and feel myself fall into a deep sleep.

*Later that morning*

"Avery! Ocean! Come on get up!" My dad yells up the stairs

I groan and roll over in my bed, falling to the floor. Deciding I didn't want to get back up I just covered myself in the blanket that came with me and layed on the floor trying to go back to sleep.

"Why are you on the floor?" Zayn asks from my doorway

"Fell off bed to lazy to get back up," I say as it it's the simplest thing in the world, which it is.

"Oh I see, well come on get a move on you two," He says before walking away

I groan and stand up and smack Ocean with the pillow and make sure she's up before going into the bathroom to shower.

When I come out Ocean is nowhere in my room and there was a lot of noise coming from the kitchen. I pulled on some old jeans a random sweatshirt and my ugg boots. Pulling my hair into a messy bun I walked down the stairs and into the kitchen.

"No time for you to get breakfast we gotta go," my dad says pushing me out the front door

I sigh and climb into the back of the van and Zayn crawls in with me leaving Ocean all by herself in the middle row.

My dad backs out of the driveway and Zayn wraps his arm around my shoulders and I lean my head on his chest.

"When do you sign the papers?" I ask

"Tomorrow at one," he says

I sigh and bury my head further in his chest to hide my tears.

When we get to the airport Zayn climbs out of the van be helps me out. I hold his hand as we walk trough the door with Ocean and my parents walking behind us.

"No people past security check," a guard said

"Please can they? It's my girlfriend and her family they're just telling me goodbye," Zayn says

"I suppose, but they have to go through security too," the guard says

When all of us are through we go to Zayn's gate and sit there for him to be boarded. When they call his flight my parents Ocean and I stand and my parents tell Zayn goodbye and make their way back to the car. Ocean says goodbye and stands to the side waiting for me. I wrap my arms around Zayn and take a deep breath of his cologne.

"Call me after you sign the papers," I say

"I will," he says "goodbye Avery,"

"Goodbye Zayn," I say

"I love you," he says planting a kiss on my forhead and pulling out of the hug

I watch him board the plane and stand watching until the plane is out of sight.

*The Next Day*

I was sitting on u bed waiting for Zayn to text me that he was out of the meeting with management. I was channel surfing when my phone buzzed.

'The papers are signed' the text read

'Do the boys know yet?'

'No getting together with them to tonight and telling them'

'What about your parents?'

'My family knows. My mom was the one I talked to about the decision,"

'Whats the next step?'

'I come stay with you in New York until you graduate then we go to college together. So I can have a normal life'

'When do you plan on doing this exactly?'

'Telling the boys tonight packing my house and taking my stuff to a storage so probably sometime next week'

'I love you'

'I love you too'
