*Zayn's POV*

"Well One Direction fans, it's been confirmed Zayn Malik has left the band. Sources close to the band say Malik left the band to spend more time with his family friends but more importantly his girlfriend, Avery Rose. Fans were devastated after first hearing the rumors and some took to Twitter to show their dissapointment. One girl even tweeted Avery saying how much she hated her and she blamed Zayn for leaving and how she only wanted Zayn for his money. Avery has not yet responded to any of the hate she's received on Twitter, but the One Direction boys sure have. Niall Horan took to Twitter to share his dissapointment with the fans with a tweet saying 'Zayn quit the band because it got to be too much and he's looking to settle down and live a normal life, Avery isn't to blame here guys' for more on this story visit E news.com" the lady on the TV said

I rolled my eyes and clicked it off and flopped down to lay on the couch. I'm at Avery's all alone while her parents are at work and her and Ocean are at school.

I groan and sit up as someone knocks on the door. I make my way towards it and look through the peephole to see a quiff of blonde hair a brown curly mess a styled brown hair and a shaggy buzz cut. I sigh and open the door for the boys to come in.

"What are you doing here?" I ask as they come and sit on the couch and chairs

"We just wanted to come and visit see how your new life is," Liam says

"Were is everyone?" Harry asks looking around

I feel bad for Ocean, Avery and I tried to make them a couple but Harry saw another girl and moved on and Ocean was really heart broken.

"Mr. and Mrs. Rose are at work and Ocean and Avery are at school," I say

"Oh we missed them," Louis says

I look at my watch and see it's 3:00 so Avery and Ocean will be home in 20 minutes.

"Avery and Ocean should be here in twenty minutes," I say "They're just getting out of school,"

"Are they seniors?" Harry asks

"Yes, why?" I ask

"I was just wondering because then after this school year you guys could move to England and then we can be together again," Harry says

"I'm not moving back to England," I say "I'm happy here and I don't want Avery to feel that she has to move back to England to make me happy,"

"So you'll make her think that you're happy here to make her happy?" Louis asks

"Guys I am actually happy here," I say "This is my life now,"

"How can you just quit the band for some girl you barely know?" Liam yells standing up

I watch as he walks out of the front door and slams it shut behind him. I cringe and put my head in my hands.

"Why can't you guys just understand that I'm happy?" I ask from behind my hands

"We do understand that you're happy, it's just Liam has been a little upset since you've left," Niall says

"He has?" I ask

"We all have. It's just Liam that's been taking it the hardest," he says

"Hey Zayn we're home! Who's car is parked in the drive-" Avery says walking into the living room with Ocean behind her and the boys sitting in the chairs "way...."

"Hi Avery," Niall says

"Hi Niall," she replies back

Harry and Louis stay silent, the mad look in their eyes is evident. Avery just stands there awkwardly avoiding eye contact with everyone. Ocean just stands there trying to look everywhere but at Harry.

"Alright boys I think it's time you leave and go find Liam," I say

The boys nod and stand up and walk out of the door.

"What was all that about?" Avery asks

"They just came and wanted to see how everything was," I say

Avery just nods and walks up to her room silently and I can tell that she is really upset by the reaction the fans have been giving her and then she saw how upset the boys were.

Why can't people just understand that I'm happy with my life now? And why can't they understand I'm only this happy being away from the band because I found the girl I love.\
