Chapter 11

Matt's Pov:
( ' = sign language / " = Talking )

Lachlan pulls Vikk up the stairs and we all watch them walk up there.

"What is Lachlan doing?" Brandon's mother asks

"No, idea. Probably just showing him his face." I state

They all nod.

"But Lachlan likes Vikk, and Vikk likes Lachlan." Joe states.

"How do you know that?" Jackson asks

"Vikk told me, well wrote down to me that he like a tall blond hair and blue eyed boy in his school and Lachlan is the only blue eyes blond haired boy in this school. And Lachlan sat there comforting Vikk, rubbing his back and then wiped his tears away." Joe states looking at all of us.

"Well, that is true." I state and Brandon nods.

"I figured out something else but the people are here so I don't think they want me to say it." Joe states.

We all stare at him and he just smiles and I hear footsteps coming down the stairs and we see Lachlan and Vikk come down the stairs hand in hands, I smile

"I told you." Joe states

"What happened why we were gone." Lachlan states

"Joe told us that he knew that you two liked each other." Brandon's mother states.

Vikk blushes and Lachlan kisses the top of his head.

"Yes I like him and now he is my boyfriend." Lachlan states.

'How long did you like Lachlan Vikk?" Brandon signs

'9th grade...' Vikk signs back and Brandon smiles.

"Okay what did you guys say?" Lachlan states

"Vikk has liked you since 9th grade Lachlan." Joe states

Vikk blushes again and Lachlan smiles and hugs Vikk.

"Well now I have you." Lachlan states

Vikk hugs back.

"Boys dinner is ready." I hear Brandon's mother state as a timer goes off.

I hear the door bell ring and Jackson goes to answer it, Brandon's mother then sets a bowl of spaghetti and Brandon goes and grabs some plates. Vikk puts his arm around Joe and he smiles.

"VIKKRAM BARNS! COME HERE NOW!" I hear Vikk's mother yell.

Vikk stiffs up and looks at me.

'take him away from here.' Vikk signs to me.

I look at Brandon and then his mother.

"I can take him to my house. Brandon come with me?" I ask

Brandon nods his head and we walk over to Joe, and I take his arm.

"Come on, we are going over to my house. Vikk dose not want you around right now okay." I say

"Okay." Joe states.

Brandon takes us out to the backyard and we go out the gate and we jog over to my house and I close the door behind us. My mother looks at us.

"Hi mom, This is Brandon and Joe. Brandon is a mute and my friends and Joe is my friends brother."

"It is very nice to meet both on you, now why didn't you ask. You know better?" My mother states.

"Joe's brother is mute, and lets just say that Vikk has a hand mark on his face right now, and he dose want Joe anywhere near her right now. So he ask me to take him somewhere safe. And Brandon came with." I state

"Okay, well that is understand able, Dinner is done, do you guys want some. And Brandon are you selective or medically mute?"

'Half selective and have my doctors fault. It started to hurt to talk about five years ago. But I still talked until around four years ago and that is when I became selective. Then when my doctor was in surgery instead of fixing he ruined my vocal cords. But I got a letter the other day saying that he can fix it now.' Brandon signs.

"I am sorry. Joe what about your brother?" My mother ask him as we sit down at the table.

"He stopped talking when my dad died, his voice died when my dad died. That was about 4 years ago." Joe states

"I am sorry. My son was a selective Mute."

'We know ma'am Matt told us about him and I am sorry." Brandon sighs

"Thank you, lets eat." My mother states

We eat in a comfortable silence and all that was on my mind was that Vikk, Lachlan, Jackson and Brandon's mother, were okay there.
