Chapter 9

Lachlan's Pov:

Okay, so I don't know but for some reason Vikk has started to look really attractive and beautiful. I think that Baby Blue sweater looks amazing on his small frame. I probably stared at him for a good few minutes at lunch before some on tapped my shoulder. I look at them to see Jerome smirking.

"You have a crush on Vikk?" He states the smirk growing on his face.

I nod my head and blush.

"He got really pretty all of a sudden." I states and Jerome laughs.

"Now you know how I feel with Mitch, And isn't it going to be kinda hard with him being mute." Jerome asks

"Kinda, I am learning sign language from Brandon's brother." I state

"Well good luck with that Bro. and I think that Matt likes Pete."

I nod my head in agreement.

"And I think that Brandon likes Matt."  I add.

Jerome nods his head yes before returning to his meal and talking to Mitch.

I look back and Vikk and we lock eyes, he looks away blushing and I blush a little bit to. I look back at him to see him signing something to Matt. I make it out a little bit but not enough for it to make sense. I let out a sign, I am glad that we are going back over to Brandon's house today.

~~Time Skip~~

Myself, Matt, Vikk and Brandon walk back over to Brandon's house but he stop at Vikk's house to grab his brother.

Vikk walks into the house and we follow him. Joe runs up to Vikk and jumps into his arms. Vikk falls onto the floor with Joe onto of him and Joe start to laugh.

"Sorry Bro." Joe states

"So Vikk is home?" Vikk's mother asks coming into the room.

Vikk pulls out his note pads and start to write on it. but Vikk's mother come up to him and slaps the not book out of his hand then slaps him, hard so that he falls on the ground, and cups his cheeks.

I see tears falling down Vikk's face.

"Why don't you talk! Every since your father died you have been this stupid Mute. It makes everything harder on me and your brother. He barley even remembers your voice, and I am having a hard time remembering it to. But with all of the video I have of you with your dad I just watch them to remember your stupid freaking voice. I am done with this, I am done with you!" Vikk's mother yells at him.

"Mom, knock it off! You are hurting him." Joe states kneeling down next to the crying Vikk. I move new to him to and remove his hand from his face to see a mark,

"NO Joe he is the one hurting us." His mother states again. I look back over at Matt and I see Brandon hiding behind him.

"No Ma'am you are the one hurting Vikk. When what ever happened to make him stop talking it is because of the amount of pain they faced, and by removing methods of ways to talk to you. You are hurting him." Matt states softly

"I just said why he stopped talking was because his dad died, then we moved. His friends there hated him because he stopped talking and there where to many memories of his father there for me. I have not hear my sons voice in 4 year, Joe doesn't even remember it." Vikk's mother states back sternly.

"Ma'am I had a bother that died in a car accident, and he was a mute, selective to be in fact. And that wad because he saw this fiancé die, he became a mute he couldn't bring himself to talk. But I didn't treat him different and that made him happy. You are hurting Vikk."

"Right now I don't care, this has gone on long enough, I am going to take you to the Doctor, to see what he can do. Either make you a Mute permanently or make you talk." Vikk's Mother yells

Vikk opens his mouth and his eyes go huge. Vikk grabs mine and Joe's hand and he runs out the door, Brandon and Matt follow, and soon we end up at Brandon's house and Vikk runs into the house and falls onto the floor crying. Brandon's mother and Jackson come running into the room and They look at the crying Vikk.

"What happened? Brandon's mother asks moveing towards the crying Vikk.

I kneel next to Vikk and pull him into a hug and start to rub his back. He crys into my shirt and Matt start to explain what happens. Joe appears next to me and a few tears are runnind down his face as well. I see Vikk put his arms around him, and Joe is suddenly being hugged my Vikk.

I hear a gasp from Brandon's mother and Jackson looks peeved.

"Are you serious?" I hear Jackson ask.

"Brandon nods his head and put his hands on Jackson's shoulders and mouths calm down. Jackson nods his head and walks into the other room and comes back a second latter with an ice pack.

He gives it to me and I lift up Vikk's face, and i gasp to see a black and blue mark start to form on Vikk's face. I softly push the ice pack against this face and he lets out a hiss of air.

"Sorry, but it will help." I say.

He just nods and I wipe the tears off his face. He pushed his not hurt cheek into my hand and I blush. He blushes to but, I keep my hand on his face.

I see Vikk sign something slowly to me, and when he is done. 'Your hands are soft.' I blush and I continue to wipe the tears off Vikk's face.

"Are you okay bro?" I hear Joe ask.

Vikk nods but points at is cheek.

"I hurts?" Joe asks and Vikk nods

 Joe signs and he hugs Vikk. And I notice something.

"Vikk is your brother taller than you?" I ask.

"Just by a little bit not that much." Joe states

I laugh a little bit and Vikk blushes.

"It is okay to be short." I state.

"Vikk and Joe would you like to say here the night?" I hear Brandon's mother ask.

Vikk signs something to here and she smiles.

"Yes, Vikk I am sure." Brandon's mother states smiling brighter.

Vikk nods his head and looks at Joe.

"Thank you Ma'am." Joe states.

I help Vikk stand up but I keep the ice pack against this face. He puts his hand on mine to take and I take my hand off the ice pack. And well all walk into the kitchen, I see Brandon pull Vikk into a hug and after a moment they pull apart and we start the learning of sign language again.
