Chapter 7

Matt's Pov:

There was a smile on Vikk's face the whole time that we were sitting there teaching Joe and Lachlan. It didn't go away, even where he walked out of the house there was a smile. I had a smile on my face to, I was able to actually help teach. It was a lot of fun. Joe was doing a great job at it and Lachlan well he was learning a bit slower than normal but it was okay since we where there for a long time.

Brandon's mother and brother are really nice and friendly, they don't treat Brandon or Vikk any different because they are Mute, and that was what made me really like them. My dead brother was a selective Mute and my Mother and Father treated him different because of that. They treated him like a broken toy, a disabled human. I bugged me. Vikk mother was just mean and I don't know why she will not let him be him. You can see that it hurts Vikk not to talk to his brother, but he can't bring himself to talk. I wish I new why Vikk stopped talking but that is his choice to tell me.

Lachlan and Vikk already left and I was getting ready to leave when I hear Brandon's mother say something.

"Matt, can I talk to you for a minute." She asks me.

I nod and she grads my arm and pulls me up the stairs. Into a room and locks the door.

"Okay, thank you so much for being Brandon's friend. It has been really hard on his with this whole mute thing." She states.

I smile.

"I don't care that he is different, that just makes him unique. And I am glad that I was able to notice him. Vikk has been going to our school since 9th grade and no one ever noticed him. He was a ghost. I don't want that to happen to him." I states.

Brandon's mother smiles and pulls me into a hug.

"Oh and Brandon will not like me for a while if he finds out I told you this. but I think you have an admirer." I look at her with shock and she laughs.

"Wait really?" I ask

"Have you not seen the way he looks at you, he will even some times stare. But don't tell him." She states.

"Yes, Ma'am." She smiles

" And if you can stay for a little bit longer I have something to tell Brandon and I think he needs a friend here to comfort him." She states and he smile fades.

I nod my head and she unlock the door and we walk down the stairs to find Brandon and Jackson talking.

"Okay Brandon I have to show well tell you something so don't move." Brandon's mother states.

He nods his head and I move closer to them and I start in on the conversation. After a minute Brandon's mother comes back in and she has a yellow packet in her hand, and a frown on her face.

"okay this is from your doctor about your voice...." She starts and Brandon freezes I put my hand on his shoulder and he grads a hold of it.

"I am sorry to inform you but...." She starts and I look at Brandon to see tears running down his face.

'I am stuck like this?' Brandon signs and he buries his face into my chest. I put my arm around him and start to rub his back.

"Just wait one minute." She clears her voice and starts to read again. " I am sorry to inform you but we finally found a way to fix my mistake. And because it was my mistake I am going to fix Brandon with no cost as an apology for messing it up in the first place."

Brandon takes his head out of my cheat and looks at his mother in shock.

'Wait are you serious! Four year and he can now fix it!.' Brandon signs.

his mother nods and Brandon wraps his arms around me hugging me, I sit there in shock before wrapping my arms around him smiling.

He lets go of me and starts to jump up and down. clapping his hands. I laugh and so dose his mother and brother.

'OMG, I am so happy! wait when is it?' Brandon signs and stops jumping.

"It is next Thursday, right at 5 PM, so we will all be there." Brandon's mother states.

Brandon nods and looks at him, and blushes before looking away again and hugging his mother then his brother.

I smirk. Brandon dose like me, and I think that me might be growing on me. I like Brandon. Brandon starts to dance around the room and he looks at me and I grab his hands and start to spin his around the room. There was a permanent smile on both of our faces. After a while I get a text from my mother telling me I needed to get home.

I tell everyone bye and I walk out of the house. I could not be happier than now. Vikk is happy, and so is Brandon. Two people smiling today.

Okay so WattPad dose not like me. Every time I make an edit it will either not save the edit or delete the whole chapter. So I hate WattPad.... But I am glad that I was able to fix the few errors, and I would like to thank hollyskater for pointing the error out to me, it would have really bugged me latter on but I would have been to lazy to fix it. So thank you for pointing that out so I wouldn't have been drove up the wall. And this thank you is sincere, I mean it, not in like a rude way or smart alex way. Just thank you for helping me.
