Chapter four

After about ten minutes jay finally pulled up to my house and texted me he was there. I quickly climbed out the window and slid down the water pipe underneath. Then, hopped into jay's car. He looked at me shocked as if he didn't expect for me to come so quickly. But, that water pipe isn't that long I'm only on the second floor.
"What?" I asked as jay started to pull off and I buckled up.
"I thought you were a good girl." He said as he switched on the radio and eyed me in a weird way.
"Even a good girl has to be bad sometimes." I said smiling at him.
"What are we going to see?" I asked.
"The purge." I honestly was scared me and scary movies never got along. And I'm pretty sure we weren't gonna start now. But, I've already snuck out the house so there's no going back now. Soon we pulled up to the theater so I hopped out the car. He met me in front of the car and grabbed my hand then we walked towards the doors. When we got the window there was a young lady there. She looked to be about my age, but her entire demeanor was off. She kept making googly eyes at jay as if she didn't see me. When to be honest she wasn't even that cute. After a while I started to get irritated to I snatched the tickets from her and pulled jay into the building.

"Were you jealous?" He asked as we went to get some popcorn.
"No... I don't get jealous" he smiled as I walked towards the theater doors. As my hands reached the handle he quickly pulled me back which left me with his chest pressed against mine.
"You forgot the butter." He said as he grabbed the popcorn and walked back over to the butter stand. My heart was final done racing as jay walked away and I let go a breath I didn't know I was still holding in. He walked back to me and grabbed my hand as we walked to the door. We picked a seat all the way in the back as the previews started.But then I got a text.

Dad: where are you at?
Me: at the movies with a friend I'll be home around five or so.

After that I powered my phone off to avoid the coming argument with my dad and held jay close to me. He looked down at me as I placed my head on his shoulder. It felt like this was date but at this moment I didn't care if he called it one or not. The movie started and I jumped. Jay started laughing at me. So I hit him in his arm.
"Oww." He said whispering but I could still her him.
"Shhh no talking in the movies." I said being childish. We were half way through the movie when jay got a phone call so he got up and went in the hall to answer it. I went out and followed him to both check on him and go to the bathroom.
"I don't care just get the shipment here." He said. As soon as he saw me he ended his call. So instead of asking about it I just grabbed his hand and walked back into the movie. The movie was really scary and I honestly was about to cry. But jay did that cheesy yawn thing to put his arm around me. It was sweet but super chessy at the same time. I got comfortable beside him and next thing I knew I was asleep. Once I woke up I saw I was laying in a bed that wasn't mine with jay beside me. He slept so peacefully until my phone started going off. I quickly picked up my phone in hopes that he wouldn't wake up and saw I missed alot of texts.

Dad: where are you.
Kay: why aren't you here yet.
Jas: hurry up were waiting for you.
Big bro: hope you slept well. U want me to pick u up. Bio bro: Dad is gonna kill you MOM: YOU BETTER BE ON THE WAY HOME OR DEAD!!

After reading all of the texts I decided not to text but and instead I laid back down. Jay may have looked peaceful laying there but he also looked cold maybe it was cause he wasnt wearing a shirt or maybe it was cause I had stolen all the cover. So I quickly layed my head on his chest and placed the cover over us.
