I start getting dressed around 1:30 to have enough time to get ready. Looking through my closet I wonder what the surprise was. Getting out a cute white shirt with two owls and a tree branch on it and a black skirt to go with it, I get dressed.

I curl my hair and put on some black boots to go with it. Looking in the mirror I remember
about the wings and shudder a little. Then I remembered what happened in the morning and looked at my hands. Wondering if what happened was real or fake.
I get my phone to see that I got a message from Emma telling me I better be getting ready by now. Looking at the time, it was 2:27. I quickly grabbed my phone and bag and leave, knowing it takes 25 minutes to get to Emma's house when the road is busy, and I had to be there before 3 or they would throw a fit.
Getting my dad's car keys he left for me, I go to Emma's house. On the way to Emma's house I think over everything once again, wondering what I should do, or if I should do anything at all. I get out the car quickly when I see it's 2:57 and open the door to see all of the girls sitting on the sofa.
"Omg Melanie you look so cute!!' Suzy exclaimed after I close the door behind me.
"Ha, thanks Suzy you do too!" I said looking at the other girls that are smiling, a bit too big if you ask me.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY MELANIE!!" They all yelled.
"Geez guys thanks, but really, no need to yell." I chuckled out, smiling like a fool, like the rest of them now. I look at them and asked. "So, where are we going?"
"Oh yeah, come on Melanie we were waiting for you, let's go! Go! Go!" Julian sang, grabbing me by the arm and pulling me into her car, the rest of the girls following with a bounce in their steps. On the way there we listened to music and danced in our seats to the songs playing from Jasmine's phone since she had the best music in her phone.
Once we were there I looked out to see a sign, 'Fortune Teller' in dark neon blue. I couldn't help but laugh at there choice of surprise for me, but on the inside I was nervous as hell. I get out the car, followed by the rest of the girls. And walk up to the door. Standing in front of the door I didn't open it.
