Three knocks.

I heard three knocks, and I already regretted everything. Why couldn't I think of the whole roommate thing earlier, and have found someone that I could respect.

"Samantha, it's Tyler" He said through the door. I had realized the whole time I was thinking, I could have answered the door.

I walked towards the door to see his body leaning on the wooden frame of my door. "Hey princess, did you miss me?" He said while smirking at me.

"How cute. How long did it take you to come up with that one?" I asked sarcastically,  while rolling my eyes.

I look down to see that he only had one luggage.

"One luggage?" I questioned.

"My parents threw everything else out" He said while inviting himself in.

"Sure, come in Tyler" I sarcastically said while shutting the door.

I was wearing my hair into a neat side braid, a pink crop top, and some sports shorts.

He analyzed the apartment.

"I could get use to this" He said, referring to my apartment and my butt.

"I won't" I muttered under my breath.

"I wanted to lay down some rules" I said to Tyler.

He turned his head so quick, that it was like Earth about to fall off of it's axis.

"Wait, did you just say rules?" He questioned.

"Yes, did I stutter?"

He rolled his eyes. "Okay mother. What  rules did you have in mind?" He asked.

"Rule number one, no guest, unless I know. Rule number two, lock the door at all times, and rule number three, no house parties. Got it?" I asked assuringly.

He saluted like he was in the army, "sir, yes, sir!" He shouted.

I rolled my eyes, offended by his remark. "Oh, your bedroom is on the left, but there isn't a bed there so you can sleep on the couch tonight."

"Or if there is space in your bed we could-" He said before I cut him off.

"Never."

"Never say never princess" He smirked.

"Umm, you just said it."

I rolled my eyes and headed to bed. Tomorrow was Saturday and I was so excited to see Abigail. She loved coming over, and I had a nice day planned for us.

I curled up under my covers and I closed my eyes.

I was a pretty light sleeper, and things could easily wake me up.

As I slept through the night, I couldn't help but here noises coming from the living room. I got out of bed and walked into the living room, only to see Tyler painting.

"Really, at 4:30 in the morning" I whispered, while looking at the clock above the wall.

"Gotta sell this baby for $450" He said with a smile.

I walked towards the couch and sat down beside him. I looked at his artwork, to which seemed to be the sun arising above the sea.

It was so beautiful. But why tell him? To enlarge his ego, no thank you.

"Do you like it princess?" He asked me. I could feel him smirking in the dark.

"Tyler it's-" I said amused before stoping.

"It's beautiful, I know."

"No, it's depriving me of sleep" I said in a serious tone.

I marched back to my room with a not so neat braid anymore, and I snuggled under my covers.

In just a couple of minutes, I was knocked out.

I woke  up, with my hair every which way. I went to the bathroom that Tyler and I shared.

It was kind of new sharing a bathroom with boy, especially because I have only one brother, to which we always had our own of everything.

I opened the door to a shirtless Tyler, brushing his teeth. "Ahhh!" We screamed at the same time. I slammed the door shut and backed away from the door slowly.

I don't know what was worse, seeing Tyler shirtless with a very fit body or actually liking it.

I stood there in front of the door waiting for him to come out. Once he opened the door, I just froze.

It was always hard for me to express my opinion, especially when my parents would always tell me my opinion was wrong, and to never speak out of line.

"I-I'm still, g-getting used to", I coughed, "h-having company." I hung my head low waiting for him to yell or tell me not to do it again or I'll be very disappointed.

"Okay" He said and walked off.

I stood there registering what he just said.

"Your not mad at me?" I asked him.

"No. Besides, I would have probably walked in on you" He said while shrugging it off.

He slid a black shirt on, and a leather jacket. He had already had black jeans on, and he topped it off with some all black nikes.

"Sorry, I won't do it again" I assured him. I walked into the bathroom and combed my hair out, and wore it out. I brushed my teeth, and afterwards I washed my face.

I put some red lipstick on, and I put on my mascara. I don't really like access make up, because I'm more into natural beauty.

I walked into my room, and took out a jean skirt, that had buttons the went all the way down. It was a little short, and I put on a black and white, striped crop top. I slid on my long black socks, and I put on my combat boots.

It was chillier than usual in L.A, so I decided to dress it up. It was about 58 degrees, so I grabbed a cute sweater. I walked out and I got stares from Tyler.

"You look-" He said before the door interrupted him.

I heard a knocking and he answered it. "Who are you?" Abigail asked. "We don't want any girl scout cookies" He said, analyzing her scouts uniform. "Tyler, meet my sister Abigail" I said.

She invited herself in, and gave Tyler dirty looks. "Too bad, I ran out of cookies. Would like to try my fist?" She asked sarcastically.

I rolled my eyes, that's my little sister. He just laughed at her.

"Come on Sammy, you have a lot of explaining to do."

Abigail is hilarious, lol. She may be little, but don't underestimate an 11 year old.

This is actually really fun to write.

Love you guys,
