Christmas Day-

I was sitting in a chair next to him. I remember what the doctors said. They said although he may not speak, he can still hear me.

I pulled up a stool and sat next to him. "It should have been me" I whispered, "I should have been the one hit"I said while crying.

I felt his wrist tense up, but he was still unconscious. "Tyler, I want to be yours. I wanted to tell you sooner, but please wake up. I need you here."

His breaths were gentle. I gently placed my hand on his cheek. "Guess what? Last night it rained. It rained in the cold."

"Really?" He questioned, his eyes fluttering open.

"Oh!" I shouted, "oh my your awake" I said to him, happier then I could have been in my entire life. "Merry Christmas Tyler" I said with a smile.

"Thank you."

I alerted the doctors and they came in. He was casted, and was no longer conscious. They said he was good to go today, but he must be hydrated all day and he needs lots of rest.

After about a few hours, they released him with crutches.

"At least we did'nt miss Christmas, like how we skipped thanksgiving" I said with a laugh.

"I agree."

We gathered our things and went to the car. The nurse pushed Tyler in a wheel chair and helped him get in.

We drove home safley, and took the elevator. Once we got up in the complex and opened the door, I was amazed.

"Your parents must have done this" I said with a smile.

Merry Christmas and Welcome Home!
The sign read.

The house was fully decorated. From lights to the christmas tree, it was the full package.

"Come on!" I shouted as I ran to the tree, to see the very few gifts we had. It wasn't much, but it was certainly enough for just us to.

We both exchanged gifts.

I have Tyler a rectangular box that he shook multiple times to get a hint of what was inside.

He opened it up and was overwhelmed. "Where did you get these from?" Tyler asked in shock.

"They were my dads old tools. He gotten some new ones, so I took these."

I had gotten him a tattoo kit. It wasn't really as easy getting as it sounds. One, I had to clean around the shop and I had lied and said that I was practicing to become a tattoo artist.

It was hard to lie, but I did it.

"Thank you. I love them" He said while admiring them.

"Oh! I also go you this" I said with a smile, "I couldn't really afford much...but this one is from the heart."

He gracefully took the gift and unwrapped it in a rapid manner. His eyes lit up. It was a scrapbook of us and the things that we've done together.

"There's a lot of empty pages?" He said in comfusiom.

"I know. I was hoping we could do more stuff together in hopes of some more pictures" I blushed and said.

I bit my lip and he smirked.

He grabbed a very tiny box and handed it to me. "This is all I've gotten for you."

"Thanks" I smiled. When I opened it, I nearly cried.

Without a word I jumped in Tyler's arms. "Ouch!" He shouted. I forgot he was still hurt. "I'm sorry."

I leaned in and kissed him. "Can I put on you?" He asked me. I nodded my head rapidly as he slowly slid the promise ring on me.

Yes, I said promise ring.

"Samantha Evans, will you be my girlfriend?" Tyler asked me.

"Yes Tyler, I want to be yours. I want to be yours for a long time."

I wrapped my arms around him. It felt so good to have my first relationship.

"Can we cross having the best Christmas off of the list?" I asked him.

He nodded his head so fast.

To my surprise the door burst open. My little sister Abigail, and brother Luke walked in.

I hopped up on my two feet and ran to them, hugging them with all my strength.

"How did this happen?" I said while smiling at them. They all directed there attention to Tyler.

"You-" I looked all around the room, "you did all of this?" I asked.

"I had this plan for weeks Sam."

"Yeah, he's not so bad after all Sam" Luke said to Tyler.

"Aw you guys are goals!" Abigail shouted, running up to the Christmas tree.

While everyone was under the tree, I walked to the kitchen and looked around.

I guess Tyler noticed me and crutched his way into the kitchen.

"What's wrong?" He asked in concern.

"Nothing, everything is perfect" I said, "it's all perfect."

Tyler leaned and kissed me.

"I'm glad I'm the reason that your really smiling" Tyler said to me.
