The dreadful journey took us 2 days non stop to reach the place. Even though we weren't familiar with the route, the men over the radio helped us. We were so happy to finally meet normal people after the nasty stuff we saw on our way! That crap scared the hell out of us. I can't even describe it. Just even to think about it gives me the creeps.

When we entered there place, we were checked for bites or scratches from the infected.

There place was like a camping area. It had 15 people that included 6 men and women each and rest were kids. There was a lake nearby . All the people were appointed a duty to do by their leader. There was this caravan on which two men, taking shifts, had to guard the place at all times by keeping a look out for the infected and for human enemies,so as we were told. The rest of the men had to hunt for food in the forests. Women had the duty to cook the food, wash clothes and get water for the camp. The kids were the only ones free of duties.

When we first met everyone, we introduced ourselves and told them about what had exactly happened. So all the men and women started blaming us for everything that had happened to them and their families and threatened us to leave or else they'll kill us. But their leader, who's name was Brian, calmed all the people down and called us in his tent. He told us that they didn't have much food, because hunting wasn't always successful, and arms left with them and that as we were trained agents, he would like us to get food and arms from the city to prove we were worth giving space to live in our camp, as we were the ones who failed the human race.

We agreed because there wasn't any other choice. But the question was how do we find the food and the ammunition store? We had no freaking idea about Miami. So Brian said that there was this guy named Max ,who used to work in the cities pizza shop and knew all the ways in and out. He said he will take us there and get us out but if anything would happen to him, we would be left with the infected. I certainly didn't want that to happen.

We told Brian that we would leave tomorrow as it was already evening and we all had had enough of the infected for a day, or in our case even two, and were very tired.

He said that it was okay but we would have to go to the city first thing tomorrow and then gave us our tents to put up and rest in.

It was a tough evening for us but all we had to do was wait.
