Chapter 12

Phil lead us to their flat. Once in front of the door, he unlocked the door and we walked in. I was in Dan and Phil's house! It has always been a dream of mine to be able to say that. I need to calm down. I don't want them to think I'm a freak. We walked up the stairs and into the living room. It was decorated with nerd stuff. But I would have it any other way, if it was my place. I sat down on the couch next to Phil and Dan sat on the chair in front of us.

"Is there anything in particular you would like to eat?" Phil asked.

"I'm good this anything honestly" I said in reply.

"Are you sure?" Dan asked.

"I'm positive. But thanks for asking" I said.

"Well, how does spaghetti and meatballs sound?" Phil asked.

"That sounds wonderful" I said.

"Okay, well I'm going to go make the food. You guys talk are whatever" Phil said.

He got off the couch and walked out the room. The room was left Dan and I. It was super awkward because neither of us were talking. We sat three in uncomfortable silence for two minutes.

"Do you want to play some Mario Kart?" He asked.

"Sure" I said trying to keep my cool.

Dan Howell asked me if I wanted to play Mario Kart with him!

"Follow me" He said getting up from the chair and walking to the hallway.

I followed him up the stairs into the hallway leading into the office. Damn, now I sound like a creep. We walked in the office. I sat down on the grey couch while he turned on the Wii U and put the game in. When he came back with two controllers in his hand and sat down next to me. He handed me a controller.

"Are you ready?" He asked.

"Yup" I said.

"I just want to let you know that I'm preety good at playing" He said.

"Oh okay, a little cocky are we" I said just to mes with him.

"No I'm serious. I've played online vs actual Japanese people and won" he said.

"Okay then let's see how good you are. We'll play best out of three" I said.

"Let the games begin. 150cc?" He said.

"Yeah, because I want speed" I said.

We pick our characters and then cars. I picked Yoshi  and Dan picked Mario. We played the first game and it turns out that I won.

"In your face!" I yelled in his face.

"I was just going easy on you. This is the real deal on the next one" He said very sure of himself.

"We'll see about that" I said back to him.

We played the next round and Dan won.

"See, I told you I would win the next one" He said.

"Okay, one last round and that will show who's the best" I said.

We played the last track and guess who won. I won and only me! I was so proud of myself.

"Ha, loser! I won!" I said as I gave him my controller.

"Yeah, whatever" He said as he got off the couch and put the controllers away.

He turned of then Will U and then turned off the tv.
