{Chapter 5- Fallen For You}
[Jungkook’s POV]
“I can't believe you threw your phone”, she says as I take my luggage from the airport staff. Apparently my luggage was lost and they had just found it.
“any man would have dropped their stuff when they saw the woman of their dreams standing before him”, I say to her with a teasing smile and she slaps my shoulder with an embarrassed laugh. I set down my luggage onto the floor so I can roll it by my side while picking up my bag from the floor.
“I'll help”, she says with a smile as she tries to take the bag from my hand. I feel my heart skip a beat and I move the bag behind me as I mirror her smile.
“I can carry it-”
“But both your hands will be full… I want to hold your hand”, she pouts and I hold in my shy chuckle.
“okay~ but only so I can hold your hand”, I say to her and she grins as she takes the bag from my hand, gripping onto my entire arm instead. “I've missed you”, she says as she kisses my cheek and then leans her head on my shoulder, her grip on my arm tightening. I feel my eyes beginning to burn as I look down at MinJi, the girl I haven't seen in years finally clinging onto me in the bone and flesh.
“I've missed you too- a lot”, I mutter back as I kiss the top of her head. I can't explain the feelings that are going into war within my heart. I feel worried, but so happy- so content. Having her by my side like this- so happy and so real- makes me never want to leave ever again.
Why would I want to leave my home again in the first place?

“Jungkook…”
“hmm?”
“What happened to your chin”, she asks and I feel my hands automatically tighten on the steering wheel. A flash of a fist breaking into the car window frightens me and I almost swerve into another lane, the hallucination popping in my field of vision looking incredibly real. I blink it away as I straighten out the car, the vehicle no longer swerving as we continue to drive to MinJi’s dorm.
“aren't we supposed to be going to the hotel? I need a place to stay after all-”
“you're staying with me in my room at the dorms and that's final- but hey! Don't change the subject”, she says as she pinches my cheek and I wince as I try to dodge away from her hand.
“Don't hurt the person that's driving!” I yell in panic as a car drives by, speeding and blaring its horn loudly. “Sorry”, I shout to the car, as if it could hear me and I feel a sting on my arm. “Stop hitting me!-”
“Stop changing or avoiding the question”, she says and I glance at her expression to see how worried and upset she is. I look back to the road in front of me as I sigh, removing one of my hands from the steering wheel to grasp her shoulder.
“MinJi, it's not a big deal. It's just a scratch-”
“a scratch shouldn't be that deep”, she says in worry as she takes off her seat belt while placing my hand back on the steering wheel.
“What are you-”“hold still”, she demands, but her voice comes out as gentle and soft instead of harsh and sharp. I do as she says, focusing on the road as she leans closer to my face, probably examining the wound on my chin.
“okay that's enough looking”, I say quickly as I move my hand to cover my chin. I notice how her eyes widen suddenly, her hand speedily removing mine from my chin.
“Jeon Jungkook!!! There's glass stuck in your chin!! How did you even-?!?”
Why is there still glass in my chin?? I thought I got it all out?!
