He pushed us inside and closed the door. While he did that I looked around the place. It was stainless steel all around band a few white furniture that looked like eggs with wholes in them.
The television was on the wall and was so flat you wouldn't notice it if it wasn't a different material.
“ make yourself comfortable ”
Demetri saidI turned towards him and he was already sitting down on one of the eggs.
“ Are we suppose to sit on those... those eggs”“ you mean pods” he laughed “yes”
I slowly walked towards one and sat down. It was really soft, I leaned back into it and I felt like I was on cloud not nine. It was like laying on a hundred fluffy kittens without actually laying on kittens.
“ wow, Lizzy you have to try one, its heaven.”
She made her way towards one beside me and sat down. She was trying to fight the smile on her face but I could tell she was enjoying it.
“ so how are we going to escape” I whispered“ sos. We'll tell them it's an alien abduction ” she replied
“no that work is for area 51”
While we were discussing escape options the dirk was lifting off the ground.“ ladies stay seated until further notice.”
I heard Demetri's voice over the intercom.
When did he even leave this room.
As we got higher the more reality struck in that we were probably never going to see our family again.★★★
That night Demetri took us to another room filled with what he called pods, but they were different from the ones in the other room these ones could be covered completely.
Then you could put a settings for what you wanted to see.I went into one and was about to sleep when I heard voices and I knew Lizzy and Demetri were talking about me.
★★★
It's been three days since I've been on this ship.
I missed home. That's how I felt the whole time I was here. I missed the beach near my house, my mom's cooking and my dad's hugs but most of all I missed my warm bed and blankets but I guess that's what happens when you have to sleep in odd pods of a spaceship.I tried my best to get used to it. The pods were after all comfy but I never liked being closed in.
Demetri told me the ones at his home weren't like these.
That did nothing to calm me down. If anything it made my anxiety worse knowing I would soon be on a totally different planet with who knows what type of people.
We would be landing in a few hours and my nerves were getting the best of me. The ninja butterflies were practicing with swords and guns while doing flips in my stomach and one got away and was taking my heart for a drum.
My erratic breathing could be heard from a mile away and I was constantly reminded of this by my companions.
The steel floor made me feel like I was inside a freezer and made me wish Demetri would turn off the machine that generated the gravity so my bare feet wouldn't be numb.“ what are you doing? ” Lizzy came in asking
“ nothing” I answered “ just thinking about my life
“ well were here, you've been thinking for three hours”
She said“ I don't want to go”
I whined
She didn't say any thing to me, just walked away and I followed.
