Chapter 9
Addison
Damen pushed his himself away from his chair to allow me to type on his computer. I quickly typed in Stephanie Current + 1996. Nothing appeared, so I added our home town. There was no documents that my sister was born in our town. I pulled out my phone and quickly texted my brother a quick question.
I got the response yes and an explaination, and salty tears started to form in my eyes. Damen looked at me with sorrow in his eyes, "What's wrong?"
"She's adopted. Stephanie was adopted when she was two days old. She was originally my mom's childhood friend's baby, but the father wasn't around, snd she didn't feel like she could take care of her. That's not why I'm crying though," I explained.
"Then why?" he asked sweetly.
If he wasn't going to tell me what he was working on, why should I tell him about what I found. "It's nothing, I just need some time to myself," I quickly said.
I moved out of Damen's way and grabbed the stuff I'd brought and ran out to the room and into 'my room'. I opened up one of my family witch book to the page I marked and read the section again.
The Prophecy of the Triangle of Witches
The Triangle is made of 3 girls from three different witch family. Each girl will bear a power that gets passed through the family by the last Triangle. One will be psychic, and the other's will be a healer and a telepath. They will become the most powerful witches of their time. The first step is to unite the three girls, who will be as close as can be and will practically be like sisters. Then the must find their Triangle family spell books and their Triangle necklaces. Their lives will be hard and complicated, but their were given the strength to live through all including their worst nightmares. They will be willing to sacrifice everything for the lives of others...........................
The section went to talking about the traits we should posses. The only reason I even thought it could be my sister was because of an exprience when I was 10. I had been been having visions starting when I 9. Stephanie had just turned a week earlier, when she slammed her fingers in the car door. There was blood everywhere, but all of a sudden the bleeding stopped bleeding and her hand soon looked like it was never injured. So, she was the healer.
That's why I was so desperate to find her. We were suppose to be together, well us and a mystery girl. I'll find them, but it'll take some time. I needed someone to talk to about this. Nick and Lucas were out of the question. Damen seemed to be upset with me because I didn't just jump into his arms. Zane, I hadn't really talked to, and Marie was to young. Benjamin wasn't here. Then I decided to go to Samantha. Sure, I would have to tell her I was psychic, but she would understand.
I searched through the house and finally found her in the kitchen. She was talking on the phone, "Okay, I'll see you in a few days then. I love you bye."
"Oh, hello, Addison. If your looking for Marie, Zane took her to the park. I'm happy she's here," she told me.
"Why?" I asked.
"Zane's never been very happy in his life. Never knowing his parents really made him shy and unhappy. All of a sudden, Marie is here, and he has a best friend he talks to all the time," she explained.
"Well, I'm glad she brought joy to another person's life, then. I kind of need to talk to you in private. I don't want anyone to hear," I said quietly.
"Well, okay, then follow me," she responded. She grabbed my hand and led me up the stairs. She ended up taking me to another wing of the house. The room we went into was a bedroom. The room's floor was a soft plush black carpet, and the walls were white except for a few black polka dots on each wall. The bed was huge, and it had a black polka dotted pattern on the comforter, too. There was a white dresser with pictures on it from what looked like decades ago of her and Ben, which I thought was cute. I noticed she was sitting on the bed motioning me to come sit down with her.
Once I sat down on the comfortable bed, she asked, "Before you start, why did you come to me?"
I thought for a second before I answered, "I'm use to running to Stephanie about my problems. This last year, I've been keeping everything bottled up inside. Now, if I don't talk to someone about this I'm going to explode. I didn't feel like I could talk to anyone in this house about it except you, so here I am. In some ways, you remind me of her, so I thought it would be easiest to talk to you."
She smiled at me,"Well, I'm probably going to consider you my sister. So, I'm happy you came to me. What did you need to tell me?"
I started explaining everything from my sister being sold to my powers to the Triangle of Witches, and I ended my rant with, "Basically, I'm going to need some help trying to find these necklaces, books, my sister, and the mystery girl."
"Wow, that's a load of stuff. But, I'll help you to my full power. Do you know where to start or have a plan?" she commented.
"Well, I believe the last Triangle involved my great grandmother, who was the last psychic in my family. She was also the first in my family to be owned by Decan, so I'm planning to ask him about that and my sister when he comes, and then go from there. Anything to add to that?" I explained.
"Actually, yes. There's a local witch, who runs a library. The thing is she has a secret part of it that just holds witch stuff likes information books, witch history, and other witch stuff, so maybe she'll know more about this Triangle of Witches. We could head there once Decan comes to visit. If your worried I'm going to tell my brother, I won't. I'll let you tell him when you feel you should. Though, I think he deserves to know the truth sometime soon. For now, I know what we should do," she answered.
"What?" I asked.
"SHOPPING SPREE," she shouted.

"So, which looks better the red or the blue?" Samantha asked gesturing to two sweaters. We'd been at the local mall for two hours already, and we'd brought a lot of stuff.
"Defiantly, the blue. What would all you guys like for Christmas? I figured if I'm living with you guys, might as well get you all something," I answered.
"Well, I'd like clothes. I'll get something for you to give Ben, Zane likes video games, and Damen will be happy you're there," she answered while putting up the red sweater.
The rest of the trip I got myself some stuff, and looked for something for Damen. Then I realized I didn't really know what he'd like.
