Hades New Plaything

Chapter 10

The castle was amazing! It was four stories with all marble floors and dark red wallpaper. There were maids hurrying back and forth carrying new flowers to vases, clean towels to rooms, and plates from the kitchen filled with food.

"Whoa," i breathed looking around at everything. I felt like a child seeing everything for the first time.

"I will show you your room," Aidon smiled. He extended a hand to me and i took it carefully. He guided me up the stairs to the third floor to the very last room. He pushed open the door for me and let me step inside first.

My jaw dropped when i saw it. There were huge bay windows that led out to a balcony, a king sized bed with a royal blue comforter, a walk in closet already stocked with clothes, and a marble bathroom. There was a TV with DVD's and plenty of games to play as well.

"This is my room?" I gasped turning to look at him.

"Do you not like it?" He looked genuinely concerned. I laughed a little and hugged him tightly.

"It's great." He was frozen by the touch before he relaxed a little hugging me back gently.

I pulled away and hurried to the closet, running my hands all down the fine silks and soft furs. "Am I going to be wearing these?"

"Eventually," Aidon confirmed. "But you do have to have some training first."

"HADES!" a high pitch voice rang through the halls. Aidon's eyes went wide and he froze.

"I am not here," he whispered hurrying into the closet and pushing me out. I looked around in confusion as someone walked in. She was tall and thin with waist length pitch black hair and sharp cunning blue eyes. She wore a crop top and a pair of very tight skinny jeans.

"Who are you?" She snapped.

"Um," I said still confused as to what was happening.

"Actually it doesn't matter," she said waving me off. "I don't care." She flashed me a quick cocky smile. "Where is Hades?"

"I have no idea," i said setting my jaw. Who the hell is she?

"Well you had to get here somehow?"

"Yes its called two feet." She looked at me angrily and i just smiled back. "Now if you don't mind i would love to shower." I started moving towards the bathroom and she grabbed my arm. I spun around pulling my arm away from her.

"Get your hands off of me!" I yelled. She jumped at the power in my voice. "Do not touch me!" She didnt say anything else just left the room slamming the door shut.

Aidon came out laughing. I closed my eyes with a sigh. "That was Persephone wasnt it?"

"Yup," he laughed. "And you told her off."

I put my hands to my face falling on the bed while Aidon doubled over in laughter. It took him a few minutes to calm down. He joined me on the bed.

"It will be fine, she stays away mostly," he laughed.

"It didnt even register." He laughed at me again.

"Its fine, she needed to be knocked down a peg anyway." I rolled over and faced him.

"So you arent going to do anything?" He shook his head. "Really?"

"Perry and I have been over for hundreds of years but she still has to be here. She thinks she runs this place. You did me a favor." I sighed tucking my arm behind my head.

"Thank god."

"You should probably stop saying that. I mean after all you are living with Hades now."

"So all of you are real? Zeus and Posiedon and all of you?"

He laughed. "All of us, you've met Athena and Persephone already and you will meet the others soon enough."

"That's crazy." He smiled. "So what do I say now? So i dont offend anyone."

He laughed at me. "Thank the gods, is a favorite. You can name them if you want."

I laughed and shook my head. "Still crazy."

"You will get used to it," he smiled. "Take today to get used to everything and tomorrow we can start training."

"Okay," i breathed.

"Jamie is your maid she will bring you food and help you get dressed." I nodded and he left.

I pulled my phone out and pressed play on my music and let it play. Music filled the room and i relaxed a little.

A knock on the door brought me back. I told whoever it was to enter and watched as a small girl walk in. She was short with long blonde hair and green eyes.

"Hi, I'm Jamie," she smiled at me turning her head sideways so she looked normal to me. I rolled off the bed and jumped to my feet.

"Emerson but you can call me Em." She smiled and shook my outstretched hand.

"So Hades wants to have dinner with you and I am here to help you."

"So what do i wear for these things?" Jamie laughed and shook her head at me.

"Dont worry about that just get in the shower i take care of the rest."

"Wow," i said. "Really?"

"Thats what I am here for." I nodded and hurried to the shower. I turned the water to hot and stripped my clothes. I washed up and shaved before getting out.

Jamie brought me to a seat and started working on my hair and make up. She did a light make up and curled my hair for me. She handed me a dress and hurried me into the closet to change.

The dress was a sun dress red cloth with a black belt at my waist and little buttons. I smiled and slipped on a pair of kitten heels.

When i was done Jamie brought me to the dinning room where Hades was waiting for me.
