12. Hey sis

Chapter Twelve

Demi's POV

Alex pulled away from me as Jack and Sebs planted some kind of device on my parents and picked them up before throwing them in the bushes. Alex grabbed my arm and I hissed in pain. "Demi, what's wrong?" Alex asked me

"I think I might have broken my arm." I told him.

"Can you move it?" Jack asked me. I shook my head at him. We all headed into the car and drove off before my mum and dad woke up again.

"We'll take you to the infirmary when we get to the agency." Alex said as he looked out of the window.

Sebastien looked at me. "How did you do it?" He asked.

"I jumped out of a window." I replied to him casually.

Alex looked at me. "What? You were taking your sweet time getting here and I had to get out of there before my mum and dad kicked the door down."

I placed my head on Alex's shoulder. Jack turned to look at us. "They are so cute." He cooed.

"Do you want me to break your nose?" Alex asked him.

"Okay I've got the message." Jack said as he raised his hands.

"Good. Next time I won't give you a warning."

Alex wrapped his arms around me a second later. "I'm just glad that you're safe..." Rosie cut Alex off.

"Awww. If I could, I'd be crying from cuteness right now." She squealed.

"Rosie don't start." Alex warned her.

"What are you going to do?" She asked.

"There's a lot of things I could do." Alex told her.

"Like send you to the car wash..." Alex started

"Alexander Lucas Gaskarath you wouldn't dare!" Rosie shouted.

"Try me." Alex replied.

Rosie shut up after that and the rest of the car journey was silent. I listened to Alex's heart beat as my eyes started to feel really heavy.

"You can go to sleep if you want to." Alex whispered.

"Maybe I don't want to." I mumbled as my eyes closed.

Alex chuckled before he kissed me on the cheek. "Demi, go to sleep." He replied to me

"I'll be here when you wake up." He promised me.

"But I'm not..." I didn't get to finish what I was saying because I yawned.

"Not what Demi?" Alex smirked at me. I snuggled into him.

"Shut up. I'm trying to sleep." I replied to him

Alex's POV

I watched as Demi slept in my arms. "Be careful with my sister." Sebastien said as he looked at me.

"Now I know why you fight like a girl." Jack joked.

Sebastien turned around and faced him. "Yes and this girl has saved your life more times then I can count." Sebastien retorted a second later.

Jack shut up as we reached the gates. We all scanned ourselves before the doors opened and Rosie drove towards the building. Demi stirred a little.

"How do you think she's going to take it?" Jack asked.

"Well we'll find out soon." I told him a second later.

Twenty minutes later we were in the infirmary and I was lying down, holding Demi in my arms

"She might feel a bit of pain when she wakes up." The nurse told me.

"Okay thanks." I replied to her as Demi started moving around.

"If you need me just press that red button." She continued before she went out of the room. Demi started to move around even more until she opened her eyes and looked around the room.

"Where are we?" Demi asked as she looked at me.

"The infirmary." I stated as she snuggled into me. Jack, Sebastien and James who was head of the agency came into the room a second later.

"Demi we have something to tell you." I continued.

"You might be a little bit shocked." Sebastien added as he took something out of his pocket and went around the bed before he sat the other side of Demi. "Where did you get that?" Demi asked as soon as she looked at the picture.

"This is a photo of me and my sisters." Sebs explained.

"That little girl is the girl from my flashbacks." Demi said.

"Demi that little girl is you." Alex told me.

Demi looked at me confused. "Diana and Eddie aren't your real parents." James spoke up.

"But I think I would remember if I wasn't their biological daughter." Demi stated.

"That's the thing you wouldn't. You have a very strong trace of a very powerful drug inside you. People use it to make people forget."

"But what would Diana and Eddie want me to forget?" Demi asked. 

"And if I'm the little girl in the picture that means that..." Demi trailed off as soon as she looked at Sebastien.

"Hey sis." Sebastien said.
