Mary Jane's POV
Music played softly in the background with constant sniffling accompanying it. The wails of children were heard, from a distance you can tell that today was a bad day.
"We are gathered today to worship the life and death of our future Luna Queen, Mary Jane Leighann Parker," a voice said sorrowfully.
What? Wait is this a funeral? I'm not even dead. Why would they have a funeral for me... unless I died. But if I was dead, how am I still capable of having thoughts, yet alone hearing my surroundings.
"Although she was with us for a short amount of time, her presence alone have hope to the kingdom, a new light. Something we haven't seen in years, but here we are regrettably at this occasion. Her presence was adored by those met her and those she has yet to meet. She is gone but never forgotten," the voice said again, the person even choked on their words.
Wow. I never knew I had created such an impact on these people. I should tell them I'm awake. I feel better actually then how I felt before.
"It was the Alpha King. Who chose to take our dear Queen out from the hired professional healing witches. Her room held a see through mirror where we were able to witness her hospitalized state. It was clear to everyone's eyes that she was suffering. It was obvious. In order to stop this internal suffrage and stop the kingdom from worrying, she was removed from our kingdom into a disclosed area. Where she was declared dead five months ago," the voice announced.
Gasps were heard throughout the surrounding. Voices of anger, and cries of misery were resounding.
But the only thought that I managed to decipher was that I was declared dead for five months. And it is now that I am having my funeral. I never would've known that it would turn out like this. This series of unfortunate events.
"Why didn't the Alpha tell us! Why didn't he tell us anything. She was not only his Luna but ours too!" a voice wailed.
"This cannot be happening! What caused her to be in the hospital in the first place. We should all avenge our Luna!" another yelled. Mutters of agreement were followed. It was evident that the pack members wanted revenge. To rid themselves of guilt.
Anger and denial always comes before acceptance. It's both common and sad.
"Everybody calm down. For the sake of the past Luna Queen, let us all pass her on towards the spiritual life in peace not in anger. This is something that shouldn't be taking heavily. We are here once again to celebrate not to dispute," the voice lectured. I am guessing he is the coordinator of this event.
"Now that it is quiet, for any of those who personally knew the Luna, would any of you like to say an words of comfort and hopefully good things," the coordinator chuckled lightly.
"I'll go!" a voice, said."She was a dear friend of mine."
"Ok take the stage Axle, it's all yours."
Axle! Is he actually going to say nice things about me? I haven't seen him since Nathan appeared and knocked him out. Thank the Goddess that he is still alive.
"OK, can everyone hear me?" Axle asked. Mutters of acknowledgement were heard.
I don't like how I am here, listening to people's tale of woes while I'm here like a sitting duck . Can I even move? Can I even speak?
