~ Chapter 7 ~

*Beep*

"Why won't this stupid alarm clock turn off? Isn't this thing supposed to be off by now?" I wondered as I was swinging my hand on top of it continuously, with my eyes closed trying to savor my few moments of sleep.

*Beep!*

*Beep!*

*Beep!*

"Why won't this alarm go off?", I whined frantically.

I knew that I had to get up early and make breakfast for the pack before Alpha Cole came in but this alarm needed to turn the heck off!

*Beep!*

*Beep!*

*Beep!*

"Ok that's it I'm getting off this dang bed. I really can't stand this alarm no more!" I muttered.

But ugh, I had to get up early again to make breakfast for the whole pack before Alpha Cole came to deal with me but this bed was so warm and comfortable and I wanted to stay in it forever. Unfortunately my will to avoid trouble with Alpha Cole was greater than this warm, cuddly, soft but hard bed.

Wait.....

'I don't have a bed. I sleep on a flat card-board box in the basement.' I thought curiously.

I began to get worried and anxiously tried to break away from wherever I was but something was blocking me from doing so. It was holding on to me so strongly that I couldn't even move.

I attempted to open my eyes to see what I was dealing with but I couldn't. I shut my eyes real quick because the light was too bright and blinding to observe anything.

I was just going to go with the flow and face the brightness. I needed to go make Alpha Cole and the pack breakfast before they went to school because I didn't want to receive a bucket full of beatings, I already got enough of that at school.

As my eyes fluttered open but then my eyes adjusted.

That's weird I don't remember having any white walls. My walls are brown, peeling off and have holes in them not white. Maybe Alpha Cole decided to give me an upgrade for my good work. How nice of him!

*Beep!*

*Beep!*

*Beep!*

Oh yeah I completely forgot to to turn it off.

As I slammed my foot at the direction of the noise, I realized that it was not an alarm that I just kicked.

I saw a heart monitor, IV bags, a huge medicine cabinet, a food tray and many other stuff.

I know what these are! I just can't remember the name or place where I saw them last.

It finally hit me! After a few minutes of thinking and realizing who the things were plugged up to and what I was wearing I knew that I was at an hospital but why?

Was it because Alpha Cole beat me up ruthlessly again or was Chris and the other students at school? Well I don't know but what I do know is that I'm happy that I'm off from work until tonight because until the very day that I wake up from the hospital, I have to get out of there the same day.

Oh well more sleep and rest for me.

As I shifted my body to the side to fluff my pillow, I saw a man laying down on the bed with me and holding me. This man has huge bags under his eyes, dried tear stains on his cheeks, looks very pale and has big and pretty large muscles wrapped around me. I took my time to examine his face because he looks really familiar. He has black hair styled in a low cut, olive tanned skin, a little stubble on his cheeks and chin, a very strong and hard jaw line, a slightly crooked nose, and pink full lips. The man looked like the Moon Goddess took and used her very own time and hands to craft this masterpiece of beauty. This man is really stunning. Unintentionally my hands made their way to stroke this Greek god. I just can't keep my hands off him for some reason. Touching him made all of this seem surreal and fake but I knew he could never fall for someone like me. I am a slave. No one likes slaves in the wolf world, maybe he's just a fellow slave like me.
