"Heather, you and Tyler will be on your way to Ireland come this time tomorrow. There you will be staying at Limerick Heights, a beautiful castle in the south. You will meet with Maggie Harrington the daughter of a good friend of Doctor Millar. I warn you, this is a very old castle and many strange and wondrous events have been known to occur in and around the grounds. So please be careful and always watch your back. To give you a bit of a background on the castle we must go back to the 18th century. Used mostly for entertaining, it sits on over five hundred acres overlooking the main river in Ireland. Sitting at the back of the grounds is the Harrington family graveyard. It's said that the piece we are searching for is hidden somewhere on the grounds itself. Now that doesn't mean it's not in the castle, the information is a bit shaky on this one. The castle is still occupied by the Harrington's and they are a very proud family so listen to them when they give you information. Good luck."
Day 8- Southern Ireland
Heather Wheaton sat at the breakfast table eating a bowl of warm oatmeal alone, she was always alone, and she wondered why the heck they had ever teamed her up with Tyler Rothman in the first place. The most popular girl in school being sent across the ocean to the leader of the twits, he was nice enough but they had nothing in common and worst of all he was... well... weird!
'Just look at him!' She thought as Tyler walked into the room, his wet hair still matted to his forehead. He's at least three inches shorter than I and he's scared to even talk to me. He just walks off and sits at the opposite end of the table, 'Great conversationalist.'
As predicted he walked down to the far end of the huge wooden table, Heather stood up shaking her long curly brown hair, she gave her plate to the servant then proceeded to walk past him into the main corridor of Limerick Heights Castle. As she passed him she noticed his eyes following her, it gave her the creeps.
After she passed through the large doors she felt better, she was still flabbergasted at the enormity of the old castle and the huge grounds it sat on. The main corridor was lavishly decorated with carpets so thick you could use them as mattresses. The tapestries hanging on the wall were gorgeous and to Heather seemed very expensive. She felt at home here for elaborate tastes were her thing.
The front doors opened wide revealing a bright sunny day; she smiled as the warmth bathed her face. She took in a huge breath of air reveling in the light aroma of sea salt from the ocean and fresh cut grass all around them.
The path to the main gardens took her around the huge structure and into the expanse of the rear grounds. She rounded the side of the castle watching as the beautiful ancient trees parted slightly in the breeze, giving her an unobstructed view of her favorite spot.
Approaching the gardens a mist blew in from the ocean lasting only a few seconds but enough to leave a light sprinkling of dew on the grass. She had become accustomed to these small showers in the last few weeks; she had even come to reveal them every hour on the hour.
Heather felt at peace almost the instant she walked through the small picket gates into the lush gardens, the smell of country flowers breathing new life into her. She sat alone on the small bench positioned almost directly in the center of the gardens taking her notepad out to begin writing.
Tyler and I have been here for two weeks now and have had very little progress in the search for the artifact. Well can't really say I've made much progress; Tyler won't say a word so I can't speak for him. I can't figure that boy out, I've tried to be sociable but he won't give me the time of day. Somehow I have to find out what type of information he's found out!'
