Simeneon sat in the living room of Dr. Miller's beautiful townhouse as the doorbell echoed throughout the hallway.
"I'll get it!" She yelled up the stairs to the doctor who was busy with other activities up in the bedroom. She pulled her leg from the chair, limped over to the door, and felt the warm air waft in as the door swung open.
"Professor Tweedle what a surprise. What do we owe this visit?" She said happily.
The small portly man stepped through to the cool hallway as Simeneon closed the door behind him. "I'm sorry to barge in like this but I thought it about time I came to see you."
"Well, I'm glad you did sir... please." She motioned towards the living room and a chair that sat just a few feet away from where hers was. They shuffled over and made themselves comfortable as the doctor came down the stairs still wiping his hands with a small towel."
"Ahhhh, professor it's so good to see you again. What do we owe to this joyous visit?" He said smiling.
The professor looked uncomfortable as he sat deeply into the chair. "I've been keeping track of your journey's Miss Enchantment. From my calculations, Heldom's henchmen have figured out where the last piece of the relic is hidden."
"You would be correct Professor, my friend Fin has been trying to retrieve the last piece, once that's done we'll be able to harness the power." Simeneon grabbed hold of her teacup and drank.
The professor looked silently at Simeneon for a second judging her closely, "Something has gone wrong hasn't it?" He asked slyly.
Simeneon peered at him and realized the doctor could see right through the charade. She sighed deeply then spoke, "We lost communication with the others two days ago. I've tried to get reinforcements but they haven't arrived as of yet."
The professor leaned back in his chair and sighed as well, but before he spoke there came a crash from the back of the house.
"What was that?" Dr. Miller asked nervously.
Another more distinguishable crash could be heard coming from the side of the house.
"Oh no, they've found me again." He said harshly.
"Who has-" She found herself cutting her own voice off as she stared at the professor again, "The minions have been searching for you all this time haven't they."
Professor Tweedle stood quickly and rushed towards the front door, but as he opened the door he gasped. For staring back at him was a dark menacing looking minion.
"Good evening Professor, it's good to see you again."
Simeneon came up from behind and peered around the doctor, "SLY!!!" She rushed forward and slammed the door shut in the creatures face. "Please don't let that piece of slime into this house!"
There was another knock on the door, both of them turned around to face the door, "Come on, all I want to do is talk." Came Sly's exaggerated voice from the other side. "If you don't let me in I'll have them come in instead."
Simeneon pulled the doctor back to the living room, "Doc can you take the professor into the basement and hide him in the panic room"
The doctor stared at her for a second then nodded.
"Well take him now." She instructed.
"What are you gonna do?" Doctor Miller asked as he pushed the old man to the basement door.
