I sat on the floor starring up at the ceiling. Standing slowly I made sure that my balance was straight.
"Mama?" Dom said walking into the room.
I smiled kissing his cheek.
"Yes baby, what is it?"
He stepped back looking me up and down.
"Are you alright? You've been strange lately.."
Looking at him I nodded as a large grin came upon my cheeks.
"I'm great!" I blurted before rubbing his back. "Are you ready for your game?"
He shrugged before nodding.
A few weeks ago I signed him up for soccer because, I just assumed he liked it.. I mean he watches it on tv so why not play it? He seems to be pretty good, but, then again his bfather is Odell.
"Is dad coming?"
I scrunched my nose up looking away. Walking closer to him, I smiled pinching his cheek.
"I don't see why not buddy! Come on. Let's go now."
After grabbing my purse and things we left the house.

Surprising alot of our family and friends came out to see Dom play. It's his first actual game against other kids so it's alittle exciting. Me being the mother that I am, I was screaming rooting my baby boy on.
"Chill out." Crystal said laughing.
I smiled sitting in my fold out chair.
"I'm just being a proud mother." I explained.
"So," Crystal started looking around slowly. "Where's the father?"
"I.. um.." I looked down before looking at her. "I told him not to come."
"Why?!" She yelled pushing my arm.
I rubbed the pain away rolling my eyes.
"It's just things are going on lately and I'm trying to avoid him."
"By keeping him from seeing his son's first sport game? What is there to avoid Valerie?"
"I'm pregnant and it's not Keith's." I blurted out quietly.
Crystal's eyes widened as she starred at me.
"HOE! I told you, you were a hoe!"
I quickly covered her mouth as a bunch of parents attentions were drawn at us. Moving my hand she sat back in the chair.
"You need to tell Odell and stop avoiding him. Then you need to leave peanut Keith and get a better job."
I knew she was right but, it just wasn't that easy..
All of a sudden Dom came running towards me with his arms open. I hugged him kissing his forehead.
"You're doing SOO good baby! I'm so proud of you."
He smiled with his little tooth missing.
"Thank you mama. Is dad here yet?"
I shook my head 'no' as his eyes widen. Turning around in my chair to see what he was looking at, I saw what I didn't want to.
"Dad!" Dom said running to Odell hugging him.

Odell hugged him back walking towards me. I turned back around in my chair watching the little game going on.
"Hey Valerie." Odell smiled starring at me.
"HOE!" Crystal coughed loudly.
I smacked her arm before giving him a basic smile and nod.
"Destiny! Did you see me running out there? Was I good?"
I watched as Dom held a excited smile on his face talking to Destiny. She nodded giving him compliments.
"Can we talk?" Odell said bringing me out of the thoughts.
Turning my head to the side I also saw the Odell brought Kaiden. He stood behind Odell with a pacifier in his mouth.
"Honestly I'd rather not."
Crystal stood up giving Odell my chair before walking away. I massaged my forehead preparing myself for whatever he has to say.
"Kaiden go over there with sissy." Odell pointed.
The little child nodded wobbling away.
"Okay so first, I wanted to apologize for the last time we spoke. I'm sorry it ended the way it did-"
"I'm over it." I blurted out picking at my nails.
"Secondly, a little birdy told me about your situation with Keith and his dad-"
Looking up quickly I looked across the field at Crystal talking to Jordan and flipped her off. She just smiled evilly.
"And I wanted to let you stay at my house if you want and I'll help you out financially."
"I don't need a man to help me out financially." I spat looking at him angrily.
"Then why are you with Keith?" He asked raising an eyebrow.
I opened my mouth at the comment he just said before looking away crossing my arms.
"I don't except your offer. But, thanks anyway.." I said.
Odell sighing rubbing his forehead.
"Where is your boyfriend anyway?"
I looked away shrugging.
"H-he'll be here soon." I replied.
"Sure..."
