I walked into my house letting go of Kaiden's hand as he ran away. Daya walked around the corner picking him up, smiling, kissing his cheek.

Sighing I plopped on the couch. She walked over and sat next to me. Our legs an inch apart.

"Where's my daughter Odell?"

"She's staying with Dom and Valerie." I replied.

"You pitch your idea to Valerie?" She asked.

I nodded before explaining how Valerie disagreed. Daya chuckled shaking her head.

"Maybe that's a good thing. Were you expecting to do some sisterwives type of shit?"

Smacking my lips, I squinted my eyes at her.

"You told me give her that idea anyway!" I yelled. "Were you expecting some girl on girl action?" As she sat quietly I sat back. "I wouldn't be surprised, yo lesbo ass."

She rolled her eyes shoving me laughing. Starring at her in depth I realized something.

"You really do look like a dyke."

Sighing loudly she shoved my shoulder as hard as possible.

"You know I hate that word! It's so rude."

I laughed dodging her hits.

"It's true Day!" After she was done I looked at her giggling. "Were you a boy in your past life?"

"Bye Odell."

I grabbed her arm as she stood up.

"Stop let's talk." I said pulling her onto my lap.

"Money?" She asked putting her hand out.

"What?" I squinted my eyes. "No!"

"Kay, bye!" She said skipping away.

Valerie

I took a deep shaky breath as my mother yelled at me on the other end of the phone.

Myself expecting her to be a excepting mom and to give me advice, I was completely takin back.

"Your father would turn in his grave if he knew you were doing dumb shit like that! How could you do that to such a good man?"

I rolled my eyes at the thought of Keith.

"Is your definition of a 'good man' someone who has money and a stable future for themselves?"

The other end was quite.

" 'Mother' the only thing that this good man has done for me is put in his personal input in my problems. Other than that he doesn't do shit for me!" I yelled.

Never in my many years of breathing have I ever expect to yell at my mother. But, I've never expected her to be so selfish. And not only is she basically calling me a hoe, but, she's also showing no support. Just what I needed..

With that I hung up.

I wiped my tears going to my messages and tapping Keith's name.

After sending I stood up sniffling walking to Dom's room. Opening the door I found him and Destiny playing tag.

"Hey guys!" I smiled. "Wanna go for a ride?!"

"Yeah!" They both yelled running to the front door.

Sighing I pulled my phone back out sending a message.
