3rd person POV:

Josh didn't make it. Tyler went to his funeral.

Josh didn't make it. Tyler doesn't understand how that could possibly be true.

Josh didn't make it. Why would Josh leave Tyler, all alone, so alone.

Josh didn't make it. Tyler's in therapy.

Josh didn't make it. Anti-depressants don't do much. Tyler hasn't been outside in weeks... Or maybe longer, he's lost all concept of time.

Josh didn't make it. Tyler's lost a lot of weight, it's just so pointless eating... Everything's so pointless. It isn't like Josh, Tyler doesn't want to lose weight, he just can't be bothered with anything, eating, drinking, getting up - sometimes he wonders what it would be like to stop breathing.

Josh didn't make it. Tyler wonders how many pills Josh actually swallowed. Finds himself googling the effects of overdose, sickness, getting cold, heart racing, struggling to breathe, seizures, drowsiness, death. Of course there's many more and it all depends on which drug you take.

Josh didn't make it. Tyler refused the help from friends and family, says he's fine. They don't believe him, they say they're concerned he might do something drastic like Josh. The words weren't said exactly but it was heavily implied they were concerned Tyler would overdose. They should be.

Josh didn't make it. Tyler feels like his sanity has packed up and left with a suitcase full of his will to live.

Josh didn't make it. Tyler overdosed.

Josh didn't make it. Neither did Tyler.
