25) Selfies

Emily sits across her overly joyed mother, absentmindedly playing with her food with her fork.

Em felt like something was troubling her but she didn't know what was on her mind besides that dream of hers, that she still hasn't told her mother yet.

Her mom noticed her daughters behavior so she reached across the table and takes her hand away from the fork,"What's on your mind hun'?" He mom's tone was very caring.

"Funny you ask." Emily says with a chuckle before looking up into her mothers blue eyes,"I um....had this dream." Em lets out a slightly depressing sigh as she looks back down at her plate,"It felt so real though." She swallowed the lump that formed in her throat before continuing,"I-In this dream, Hayden showed up at my bedroom door. B-But I knew I was dreaming I just couldn't wake up, but when I did Chris was holding me in his arms....I guess he heard me screaming or something." She looks back up at her mother, who had her other hand over her mouth.

Emily's mom removes her hand from her mouth and sighs,"You used to have dreams that felt real and you couldn't wake up, but you usually don't remember them...how come you remembered this one?"

Emily's face was pale from shock, she didn't remember having these types of dreams when she was younger,"I-I don't-" she was then cut off by her mother standing up slightly and pointing at someone or something.

"Is that Sebastian?" Her mother says quite excitedly,"I haven't seen him in forever. Go say 'Hi' and bring him over."

"I'd rather not, he looks busy." Emily says as she looks over her shoulder at Sebastian who doesn't look that busy. He had in his black earbuds as he walked around.

Emily's mom slaps er daughters hand,"Go talk to him, Chris told me about he never left your side while you were in the hospital." And of course her mother was right, and of course Chris told their mother about that.

Emily sighs as she stands up and straightens her clothes,"Why do you make me do things like this momma..." She says in her moms ear before walking over to Sebastian.

Sebastian's eyes widened as he saw Emily walking towards him so he takes out one of his earbuds. He opens his arms up for a hug and Emily gave in to the hug. After she pulls away he smiles a huge cheesy smile at Em.

"How are you doing, Seb?" Emily says as a smile appeared on her lips.

Sebastian bites his bottom lip and looks up at the sky then back into Emily's eyes,"I'm doing great, but more importantly how are you doing, Em?"

"I'm doing...better, but my mom would really like to talk to you apparently." She says with a small laugh.

Sebastian looks over at Emily's mom who was waving like a maniac and Sebastian of course waved back,"Well before we go talk to your mother let's take a picture." He says as he pulls out his phone from his pocket.

Emily sighs,"Its a selfie...wow Sebastian I thought you were the meme lord." She says with a laugh,"Oh wait I mean 'me-me'."

Sebastian just roles his eyes at her and smiles as he takes the picture of the two of them.

After about three more selfies were taken Emily took his hand in her own and leads him to her mother.
