Guardian Jack frost x Reader

The dress

The next few weeks I hadn't talked to Jack much. Only small Conversation during each lesson of training. He was acting weird around me, and it was starting to worry me, I hope I didn't freak him out that other day.. Any ways my lessons with Sandy have been going very well. I was learning how to distract and use my sand better. Tooth and North have been busy preparing the guardians ball of the winter. Which was tonight. Tooth had finally talked me into going, and she was having the Yetties make me a dress.

After both of my lessons, I went back to my room and decided to take a nap, only to be waken up by Tooth.

"wakey wakey! Your dress is done! Ooh! This is so exciting!!" she said excited, I sat up out of my bed as she laid the dress across my lap. She looked at me and her smile faded.

"oh dear! Your face is bruised!" she said in a panicked voice.

"yeah, its from all the training with Jack and Sandy." I said with an exhausted voice.

"well go take a shower dear, it'll wake you up, and when you're done with that, come get dressed and I'll be right back in to see you." she smiled and with that she walked out of my room. I walked out of my room and into the bathroom that North had made across from my room for me. I walked in locking the door and took a shower. After I was done cleaning myself, I took a towel off of the shelf and wrapped it around my body. I stepped out of the bathroom and closed the door behind me. I turned around to see Jack walking down the hallway. He glanced at me.

"oh I'm so sorry!" he said covering his eyes. I didn't say anything back I just ran into my room shutting the door quickly behind me. 'that was terribly embarrassing' I thought to myself, feeling my face heat up. I tried to forget that Jack saw me in only a towel, but we haven't even talked that much since my first training lesson, and the most he has said to me since is "oh I'm so sorry" because he saw me in a towel! I have to remember to bring clothes with me next time.

I looked at my bed to see the dress Tooth had left for me. I look at the time to see there is only an hour before the Winter Ball begins. "that must be why Jack was walking down the hallway.. seeing he is the only other guardian that lives with North other than me, He must have been going to his room to get ready.....if he is even going" I thought to myself. Wait, why am I even thinking about him, I mean, why would I even care? I shook the thought from my head and decided to put on the dress. The dress was sparkly silver. It kind of reminds me of my sand. The top of the dress is like a t-shirt, but the sleeves fall below my shoulders. The dress is very slimming, and at the bust the dress begins to flare Just a little bit, and falls all the way down the floor. I swayed side to side smiling, admiring the dress. My door opens and Tooth walks in.

"its beautiful!" she exclaimed flying around me. She then put matching small heels on the ground, and I stepped into them. She stood in front of me admiring my outfit.

"oh (y/n)," she said grabbing my face. I winced in pain from the bruise that dusted my face.

"here, lets do your makeup and hair." Tooth said with a polite smile. I smiled back excitedly. No one has ever done my hair and makeup before... I sat down in a chair Tooth brought in, and she started doing my make up, while waiting for my hair to fully dry. After all the tweezing, eye closing and funny faces, She was finally done. It felt like it had taken forever. I look in the mirror to see a silver eyeshadow covering my eyelids, and my eyelashes look like I had placed false ones on. I cant see the bruise on my face anymore, And my lips are stained bright red.

"i love it! it looks amazing!" i said with a big grin on my face.

"well I'm not done just yet!" Tooth replied with a small giggle. Tooth then starts brushing my hair. Once all the knots are out, she starts curling my hair into big spirals. This took forever, once she was finally done, I went to look in the mirror, but she patted my shoulder and made me keep still. She Then started twisting a chunk of my hair, then teasing it to make it look big, she then brought it to the other side of my head and secured it there. She then did the same thing on the other side of my head, and kept repeating this over and over until all of my hair was pulled back. She then stood in front of me and pulled out my curly bangs, and a few curls from each side of my face. She gave me two mirrors so I could see the front and back, my hair looked like it was in a big, curly, sophisticated bun, and it looked like she had placed diamonds all throughout it. It looked beautiful.

"done! you look so beautiful!" Tooth yelled happily.

"oh my gosh! we are already an half an hour late!" she exclaimed She then grabbed my hand and we ran out of my bedroom. Tooth flew ahead of me and walked into the small doors leading into the ballroom. As she flew through, the doors shut locking me out. I began yanking on the doors, but they don't budge. I walk up to the big doors that lead to the same room, Knowing these doors are usually only used for North and his big entrance to his own ball, I swallow my nerves and push them open.
