"Is everything okay between us?" Xavier asks before he leaves
"It's a lot to handle, a lot to try and understand. I still love you, I don't think I'll ever stop... But I need some time... A few days, maybe weeks, a month I don't know yet."
"The promise I made to you today I will forever keep. If you need me I'm just a call away. Even if you don't want any romance with me right now, please don't push me out of your life. Everything I said and did I meant, it came from my heart."
"I love you."
"And I'll always love you more. Goodnight minha princesa." He kiss my forehead softly and leaves.
I turn my phone on and had many miscalled from my dad and mom. I call my mom. "Hi mom, I'm sorry I didn't answer..."
"What's wrong sweetie?" She didn't sound scared or as if she was acting
"I'll tell you guys tomorrow morning. I really miss you guys, I hope you haven't forgotten about me yet."
She laughs and calls my dad over. "Baby is everything okay? We tried calling you and-"
"I'll explain tomorrow... Remember it's only one ticket, Xavier won't be coming home."
"Did something happen between you guys?"
"Long story. Everything okay home though?"
"Of course, we might have a little surprise for you."
"Oh??"
"Nope no hints sweetie, but it sounds like you had a long day go to sleep."
"Yeah, I'm sure you're right, goodnight dad, goodnight momma."
"Goodnight sweetie."
I end the call and get ready for bed. I go to the bathroom to wash my face and brush my hair when I see a note on the sink.
"If you think I'm going to let you go so easily you're wrong my love. I know there's a lot to talk about but you have my heart, and I can't live without it, I can't live without you."
"This is why I'll never stop loving you..." I shake my head. I turn the light off but leave the tv on. At one in the morning I grab my phone and see myself calling Xavier. At first it didn't register in my mind everything that happened until he picks up the phone and I see he's confused.
"Is everything okay?"
"I- yeah... I'm sorry, I guess I'm so use to this?"
"It's alright my- Andrea."
"You're not mad at me are you?"
"Mad? No ba- no. I get why you acted the way you did, I get you're upset and confused..."
"But?" I roll my eyes
"But nothing. I just hope you don't push us away... Nelson, your family, me."
"You're my everything, nothing will ever change that, I promise. I just- why couldn't you tell me this earlier..." I start crying so I point the phone camera away from me. "I'm not going to push you away, I won't push anyone away, I just need time. Some more time than others. If you don't see me texting you as often or whatever please don't hold that against me."
"Baby don't cry, please don't cry. I won't hold anything against you of course I won't. I'm sure if you would've found out about everything in a different matter it'd be a bit better but it is how it is. But don't cry. I promise everything will be okay."
"I know... I promise that I'll keep my promises. I'll call you whenever I feel like crying, I won't hurt myself and all of that. I might call you at night sometimes if you don't mind."
