ALYA'S POV
Today's the day that Miles and I have to perform our song together for Mr. Park. I'm nervous.
Not because of the actual performance, but because I'm pretty sure I'm starting to fall for Miles. God, what is wrong with me?
I walk into Mr. Park's room and sit next to miles.
"Hey." He says to me with a smile.
"Hey, are you ready?" I ask him, smiling back.
"Definitely. Are you?" He asks.
"I'm a little nervous to be honest." I confess.
"Don't worry about it. You'll do great." He replies.
Oh no. I'm starting to get that weird feeling in my stomach again.
"Thanks." I say.
Our conversation is interrupted by the loud bell signalling that class has started.
"Okay class, as you know today we are all going to perform our songs that we came up with, with our partners." Mr. Park says.
Everyone groans.
"Let's see. Who should we have go first? How about Miles and Alya?" He asks.
Miles gets up and grabs my hand. I instantly feel goosebumps up to my arm. Why does he have this kind of effect on me?
We walk to the front of the classroom together, still holding hands.
He looks into my eyes, and we begin singing.
(A/N I'm skipping the singing scene because I'm way too lazy to go find a song for them to sing. Sorry!)
As soon as we're done singing everyone claps, and Miles grabs my hand again. Why does he torture me like this?
"Great work you guys. I could really feel your chemistry." Mr. Park says smiling.
"Well, we definitely do have chemistry." Miles replies.
What? Did he really just say that he- NO. No. He doesn't like me. He's with Julie. He is with Julie. Not me.
Still, I can't help the blush that comes onto my face. I try to look down and hide it, but it's pretty obvious that Miles can see it.
MILES' POV
When she blushes she looks so cute. Heck, she always looks cute.
The truth is, I never stopped liking her. I know I messed things up because of Julie. Then when she broke up with me I had to do something to get over her, so I started dating Julie.
I've made a huge mistake.
After our performance today, I know what I need to do.
I need to break up with Julie.
Then Alya might see me in a different light. I just wanna be with her. I miss hugging her, and kissing her, and asking her about her day. I need to make things right.
ALYA'S POV
After our performance today it's official.
I need to break up with Austin.
I thought being with him would help me get over Miles, but it's not. He only reminds me how much better of a guy Miles is.
I really just wanna be with Miles. That's all I want right now. I think about him all the time, and being around him just makes me feel so... happy.
I need to make things right.
