I saw Lina by the pool shooting for a swimsuit commercial probably. She looks so frail. Her hair that is usually thick and full of volume, was limp even though, you can tell hair and makeup tried to give it a 'healthy' look. She didn't notice me but when I saw her, I couldn't believe my eyes. I just stared at her without saying anything. When she lit up a cigarette, that's when I snapped. I walked over to her and just held her. "What are you doing here?" She asked, her eyes emotionless. "Lina I'm worried," I said trying to hold back tears. God, I just want to see her happy and compassionate and graceful as she was. "I'm fine Sebastian don't worry. You don't have to stay and take care of me, I can take care of myself..." I huffed. "Clearly, Lin, -" I reconsidered what I was about to say. "Lin, you know what they say in The Italian Job? Freaked out Insecure Neurotic and Emotional..." that made her faintly smile. "You love that movie..." she let out. "Why are you here Seb, I thought you wanted to 'take a break'. " I shook my head, "I was rash and impulsive and I- I realized that the idea of losing you was the one thing I couldn't bear-" "Seb, you can't leave when things get tough. You can't just bail; when it gets difficult it's when we learn each other's character-" "I know I'm sorry, I'm so sorry..." she dropped her cigarette and hugged me tighter than every before. "We have 3 weeks left of this hiatus so how about we leave LA and headlines and go on that vacation." "I have to pack, though..." "Just take the things you have with you here and we can buy whatever you need there." She smiled and nodded. I could see she was trembling and had difficulty to walk, " Do you want to get something to eat?" I asked her, "Actually, pizza sounds great..."
