*Kelsey's POV*
The police don't have any leads on who could've stolen Liz, they are the police, how can they not have any leads?? It's been two days sense she has gone missing and Ian and I haven't gotten any sleep, I mean how are we supposed to sleep when our child is missing? Our baby girl.. A part of us, is missing.
Ian hasn't gone to work sense it happened, and they understand, so they are giving him as much time off as he needs to find her with pay. Which is a good thing because the last thing we need is money problems. I haven't spoken to Liz sense the day she called, even though I said I would call her I just couldn't. I can't talk to anyone right now, I haven't even talked to my own mom. I made sure she was okay and then stopped talking to her because I am just too depressed.
Ian and I have barely spoken to each other, we don't even acknowledge each other if we walk by each other in the house, it's like we are strangers. We do sleep in the same bed but Ian puts pillows in between us because I don't think he wants us getting too close to each other because he is just too sad, just as I am.
I decided to go outside and get the mail because Ian won't even get out of bed unless he needs to do anything like go to the bathroom, or eat or get something that he might need. I have never seen him this sad in the whole time that I've known him and it just makes me even more sad then I already am thinking about it.
I opened the mailbox and saw nothing but a couple catalogs and a letter addressed to me. It was written in very neat cursive and looked very professional. I opened it and saw the same handwriting written on the single piece of white stationary. I read through and my eyes started to get watery as I read;
Dear Kelsey,
I have missed you dearly, and have been watching you. Your baby is very cute, she looks much like you; gorgeous. I have her here while I am writing you this letter. Do you miss her? She clearly misses you, she has not stopped saying 'momma' sense I have had her. It is actually very cute.
If you want your beloved baby back you will have to do something for me. Do you want to know what that is? Of course you do... You must divorce your husband, Ian. I have to hold back from throwing up just saying his name. Once your divorce is final you must come back to me and marry me. We will start a lovely family and you will not allow Ian to see little Elizabeth.
If you do as you are told, you will get your baby back. If you don't, she will stay with me and I will raise her to be exactly like me. Have fun.. I'll see you very soon.
Love always,
Your One and Only Soul-mate.
Once I was done I collapsed to the ground and balled my eyes out, who could be doing this? Why would someone be doing this? My poor baby is with some man that is apparently in love with me and is keeping her 'hostage' until I go to him and leave Ian. But I won't leave Ian, he is my husband and Elizabeth is our daughter. We are a family and it is going to stay that way.
I can't stop crying, it is just too sad and I can't handle it. This is too much for me. I have to find my baby and once I get her she is not going anywhere, ever.
*Ian's POV*
I looked out the bedroom window and watched Kelsey get the mail. One of my girls is already gone and I am not letting another one get away. I watched her walk down the driveway, like she was deep in thought about something. But I understand why, our baby is missing. You can't just go one life normally when your baby is missing and you can't do anything about it because the stupid police don't have any leads.
