I finally reached the doors that lead to the back off the school. I reached out my hand and opened it nervously wiping the sweat from my forehead. I went to our normal spot but oddly enough no one was there. I looked everywhere but he was no where to be found. I sat back against the wall and caught my breath. Where the heck was he?

"Iero!" I heard a voice call. I quickly turned my head to see Ray holding Luke's phone. All my nerves melted away when I saw that it was not Luke coming.

"Luke dropped his phone during lunch." He tossed me the phone and walked over to where I was standing.

"Why would you give it to me and not to him?" I put it in my pocket, deciding to give it to him later.

"He is your boyfriend and I don't know where the dude lives." He said looking at his watch. "I have to go help my mom make dinner but I will see you tomorrow." Ray walked to his car and drove away.

I slid my back down the wall and sat down. Now I just have to get the phone to Luke. At least he was always passed out on his couch at this time.

^^Time Lapse^^

I came up to Luke's house and saw there was a car in the driveway. Fuck. Trying not to make any noise, I crept up the stairs leading to the door. I placed the phone on his doorstep and rang the bell. As soon as it rang, I ran as fast as I could away from the door, hoping he would not open it and find me.

I hid behind a car across the street and watched the door to see if he would open it. Nobody came outside so I made my way back home.

There were kids coming home from grade school running to their parents. I tried to dodge as many as I could but ran into a few of them.

When I reached my house, I could already smell the alcohol. I tried to hold my breath on the way in but it did not help. There was half a bottle of gin spilled on the floor. Along side that was my mom, gripping it for dear life. I grabbed the bottle from her and drank it. Don't want it to go to waste.

I locked myself in the bathroom and continued to drink from the bottle. What's the point of living if there is no one worth living for? My mom couldn't give two shits about me. Luke uses me and beats me everyday. My dad left. The only person would be Ray, but he has Bob. I took a swig of the alcohol then set it down beside me.

Tears were streaming down my cheeks as I shoved my face into my knees. After five minutes of sitting there, I looked at the razor my mom had left on the sink.

Maybe if I just...... I started to reach for the razor, but pulled myself back. No. I can't go through that again. It was too painful.

I just sat there on the bathroom floor, crying the rest of the night away.

^^Time Lapse^^

My neck was stiff and my back hurt from lying on the floor. Shit. I stretched my arms then picked up the bottle. I walked out to the living room and there lay my mother, hungover and miserable.

I chucked the bottle in the trash and changed my blood stained clothes. After I changed I grabbed a muffin and was on my way. I didn't care if I'm late to school. It's not like I'm missing anything important anyway.

When I pushed open the doors, school had already started. I walked into my first period class, drawing all the attention.

"Mr. Iero. Late. Again." The old woman said, crossing her arms. "I assume you don't have your homework, as well?"

"I'm sorry but I was just so busy that I forgot to do it." I replied sarcastically.

"Detention. After school today." She handed me a pink slip then sent me back to my seat.
