AN: So I just realized that I have been writing Luke instead of Jake, but I fixed it. Sorry for the confusion if anyone noticed.

"Mom?" I said releasing from Gerard's grasp. "Why are you here?" She looked like she had been partying all night long. Her makeup was smudged and her hair was a mess.

She shut the door behind her and starerd at Gerard. "Who the fuck are you?"

He stood up and held out his hand so she could shake it. "I'm Gerard."

My mom came over to him and instead of shaking his hand she slapped him across the face.

"MOM!" I yelled at her and tried to get out of my bed.

Gerard turned around and stopped me. "You need to rest Frank don't get up." He grabbed me and put me back down.

"Did you do this to my son?" She was screaming in his ear. The alcohol was strong on her breath. "Get off him!" She was trying to pull him off me as the nurse burst through the door with the doctor.

"Is everything alright? We heard screaming." The nurse looked at me, then to Gerard and my mom trying to pull him away.

Gerard had let go of me, but as soon as he did my mom started punching him. The nurses rushed over and grabbed her off him. I got out of my bed and helped Gerard.

"Take her to the empty room on floor 5. She has alcohol in her system." The doctor said as the nurses carried her away. "Sit here." The doctor notioned for Gerard to sit on the end of the bed.

The doctor finsihed cleaning up Gerard's face and left. "I am so sorry Gerard. I should have never let her touch you it's all my fault." I was pacing around the room when Gerard got up and stopped me.

"It's not your fault. You don't have to be sorry. It's okay." He he put a soft kiss on the tip of my nose.

I slid my arms around his torso and pressed my head into his chest. He held me in his arms, as we stood there in the middle of the floor.
