The Lone Gunman

Chapter 3

You awoke to the sound of Jigen snoring beside you. He must have woken up and gone back to sleep as he was now laying next to you in nothing but his underwear. Flushed and not thinking straight, you turned over, placed a hand on his bare chest, and snuggled into him.

"You like it there?" Came a soft but deep voice from above you.

Turns out Jigen had woken up as you'd snuggled up next to him and was now staring down at you, a cheeky smile on his face.

While quickly attempting to scramble away from him in order to avoid further embarrassment, Jigen, through much pain, swiftly turned onto his side and kept you in your place.
"No, don't move." He said, almost growling.
Following his orders, you remained still and pressed up against him.
"Please stay..." He continued after you'd settled down. "I've not had the best of luck with love in my life. I've had women betray me, try to kill me, leave me, you name it, it's happened. But I know I can trust you. You're not the kind of woman to do anything like that. I want you... no, I need you. Please. I know it's cliché but i dont know how else to say it, (name). I love you."
You layed there frozen, shocked and overwhelmed. You couldn't reply in words, so you replied in action. Positioning yourself as close as possible to him so that every inch of your body was pressed up against his own, you pulled him into you, and kissed him.

His beard kind of hurt a bit as you moved your head to kiss him deeper, but you liked it like that. He moved his right hand to the back of your head and began stroking it gently with his thumb. It felt so nice. So warm. So tender.

When the blissful act finally came to an unwanted end, Jigen rolled onto his back with a pained grunt and pulled you back onto him, just like how you were before he woke up. "See you in about five hours, love." He said as he closed his eyes and wrapped an arm around you.
"It'll be more like two if Zenigata gets his way." You laughed as you nuzzled deeper into his chest.
