Your thoughts wandered off to a place they probably shouldn't have, but his rather vague question and your somewhat dirty mind made it impossible to resist.
"You can think of it like that if you want to." Jigen laughed. He must have picked up on your now flushed face.
Above all else though, you were surprised... very surprised. What with all the troubles he's gone through before, with women leaving him, dying on him and even turning on him, you were taken aback at his suggestion of a commitment.
"How did you mean it then?" You said playfully.
"Well... I-"
"Hey! I want to join in!" Shouted Lupin as he burst through the door, straight out of his clothes and dived for the bed.
With a swift 'thud' Jigen's fist met Lupins face as the overexcited fool spiralled into the wall and landed in a crumpled mess on the floor.
"Get the hell out a'here Lupin you perv. Go find Fujiko... And your own room." Said a disgruntled Jigen as he pulled the covers over himself and you a little more. Shielding you both from Lupin's prying eyes.
Lupin sulked out of your room as he pulled his clothes back on.
Sighing at his lost moment thanks to "king ruin the moment" the third, he decided it was best to leave it until another day when Lupin wasn't in ear shot, to ask you.
Instead, he snuggled up closer to you and you both fell asleep again.
That was, until you heard sirens outside your house...
