Trixie awoke.  She stretched her hands up and yawned.  Her hand slammed into something hard and she cried out in pain.  She wildly jerked her head around.  The first thing Trixie noticed was that she was in a cage, suspended from a cave ceiling.  What the hell?????  Then she remembered- the berries.  They knocked her out.  Yes... that was right.  Someone must have kidnapped her in her state of unconsciousness.  For probably the millionth time,  Trixie regretted journeying into this wretched damn forest.  Trixie violently shook the cage bars.  The cage swung back and forth, making Trixie feel slightly sick.  Although she had only experienced life in the cage for one minute, she wanted OUT.  She put her head between her knees and fumed.  A rocking sensation threw her backward against the bars and she glanced up in alarm.  An inhuman being, about the size of a six year old, with teeth protruding down to just below its chin grinned evilly at her.  It's eyes gleamed blood red and its face was pale as death itself.  The only pretty feature about the thing was its jet black mop of hair that was swept to one side of the thing's forehead.  This hair made her realise that it must be a boy.  "Erandus, leave the creature alone!"  shrieked a female voice.  It came from a taller sized creature, about the height of a fully grown human.  It's teeth were about the same length but her hair was much longer, ending at about waist length.  These must be what people referred to as vampires.
