Approximately two hours later, Trixie had managed to saw through 5 bars.  The sky had almost dimmed to the navy blue colour of night and stars had already began to speckle it.  Her heart pace quickened with nerves and her breathing sped up.  She squeezed through the cuts she had made, the sticks bending and scratching along her back.  She managed to squirm around so that her hands clung on to the roof of the cage.  she dropped her legs down and released her grip on the cage, agily dropping to the muddy earth.  Then she ran.  The forest was way darker than the town where she used to live so she stumbled blindly, somehow managing not to crash into any trees or bushes.  She ran til the sun began to rise and came to a stop in front of a towering stone wall.  It obviously wasn't the one she had climbed over to enter this goddamned forest in the first place, because that one was made from metal bars.  This stone one seemed a lot more secure.  She wandered around the new area she had found herself in and eventually came across a cave.  She clambered into the dark opening...
