introductions

zack was a senior. it was his last year in this shit hole. he was ready to go out into the world and not have to deal with these immature idiots he was surrounded by everyday.

zack didn't really have many friends. he was friends with tyler and that was it. him and tyler have known each other since they were kids because they lived next door to each other and their parents have known each other since high school. also josh but that was mostly because that was tyler's boyfriend.

zack woke up friday morning feeling decently happy.

he threw on a t shirt and some skinny jeans, did his hair, and grabbed his bag and car keys.

this was the normal routine.

school was school, basically hell. the student parking lot was the first struggle. zack wondered how the fuck half of these kids actually got their license.

after parking, he walked into the building. he was late of course. always late.

zack enter his first period class right as the bell rung. he sat in his seat and looked around the room. first period was the worst.

most of the time people just sat and stared and daydreamed the whole class period because they were too tired to function. and that was zack. he day dreamed about all of the secrets he wished he could tell people.

his family was extremely rich. he just didn't show it.

he father abused him and is now in jail.

his mother is always away and rarely comes home.

he is gay and knows for a fact his family wouldn't except him for who he was.

and this hurt the most.

as zack was looking around the room he notice someone he had never seen before. this boy was extremely attractive to zack.

he couldn't get over it and couldn't stop staring. was he new? had he always been in this class?

he couldn't help but stare at the new kid for the rest of the class. the bell rang and zack tried to shake him out of his head.

he met tyler in the hallway.

"josh is being such an ass," he said as soon as he saw zack.

"what's new?" zack replied and laughed a bit. tyler and josh had been dating for two years and we're always fighting about stupid shit but they were voted cutest couple and no one had seen a bond stronger then theirs.

"i don't know, you're coming to our show right?" zack nodded.

"bring a date," said tyler, "a boy, date!"

tyler went into his classroom as zack turned down the hallway. he sighed.

he was still in the closet and no one but tyler and josh knew his sexuality but he assumed people were catching on.

it was finally last period. it was computer class. the stupidest class ever and easiest.

their teacher basically let him have a free period everyday. so zack just got on tumblr for most of the class period. but right when the bell was about to ring and everyone was packing up, he noticed new kid again.

this boy was beautiful. brown hair and zack couldn't tell what color eyes he had. he looked sad at the moment. or worried.

the bell rang and everyone flooded out of the room. zack took his time because it was easier to get out the parking lot after the rush.

he went to his locker and then began to walk to his car.

he saw new kid again. he was sitting in the grass on his phone.

this is my moment zack said to him self.

he walked over to him and tapped on his shoulder. the boy turned around and stared at him.

"do you need a ride?" zack asked.

"um i'm waiting for my mom," he said.

zack frowned.

"i can take you if you're going to be waiting for a while," zack really wanted to get to know this kid. and if oh by god he is gay, zack was going to be all over him.

the boy thought for a moment and then stood up and said, "okay why not."

"i'm zack by the way."

zack led joe to his car and they both got in. as soon as zack turned his car on tyler and josh's mix tapes blasted scaring the shit out of both boys.

"sorry!" zack yelled quickly turning the music down.

joe just laughed.

"who is this, it's really good," joe asked.

"my friends tyler and josh have a band called twenty one pilots and this is some of there songs they recorded."

"they are amazing, oh my god. could they make me a copy?"

"yeah probably, um where am i going?" zack asked as he pulled out of the school.

"you know the park by the old baseball field?" zack nodded. "i live right over there."

zack began to drive and that direction and then realized he had a perfect opportunity to get to know joe and grant tyler's wishes.

"anyways, tyler and josh are having a concert at a bar tomorrow night, do you want to come?" zack hoped joe would say yes.

joe thought for a minute which made zack think he would say no.

"um yea, i'll see if i can make it!" he replied. zack smiled.

"okay, just text me before six and i'll come pick you up." zack handed joe his phone for him to put his number in.

they drive in silence for a bit, just listening to the mixtape.

"it's the yellow house," joe pointedly they turned onto hazel drive. zack turned into joes driveway.

"thanks for the ride," he said and opened the car door.

"no problem," zack said with a smile.

joe got out of the car and went into his home.

zack drove home and thought about joe the entire time.

he was developing a crush on a boy he had only spend about fifteen minutes with.
