Chapter 22.

Max's POV
I couldn't feel anything.
I couldn't breath.
I couldn't see.
I couldn't breath or move or do anything.
"Heh...heh...I g-guess y-you won....." I heard, I thought I was dreaming but then...
I awaken with a start.

'Where am I?' I think to myself.
I collapse, my leg aching and my arm was cut. I was on the floor, No, I was on the ground. There was dirt all over my clothes and blood next to me. I rubbed my eyes and looked around. Wait a minute...is that Audrey? I crawl over to her since my leg hurts badly. She was bleeding, near the area of her heart.
'No no no this can't happen. This can't be happening'
Then something weird happened.
She started to fade away, somehow it was like she was disappearing. I tried to grab her hand and stop her from disappearing but it didn't work.
'This is all a dream this can't be happening, Audrey is not dead.'
But it wasn't a dream.
I tried to get up, and I did but slowly. Here was a katana and a sword next to Audrey that was also disappearing. Soon I was the only one there, tears streaming down my face. Could I have...kille-... No I couldn't have.
What am I going to tell every body else?
I slowly walk out of the forest, following a path. It was really dark and I could barely see. I bumped into a few trees and bushes on the way. Everyone's probably asleep. I got to the cabin and I looked around, Audrey isn't there, she's dead. No, she's not.

I look outside and nobody was outside like usual. I gathered all my things and packed them inside my bag. What am I supposed to do with Audrey's stuff?
I guess I'll just leave it.

I bring my stuff outside and I look around, everyone is outside. Except for Audrey. No I must be delusional. This is all a dream, none of it is real.
When I get home Audrey will be at the school.

She's not dead.
And..oh was I right?
