Rivalry ~ 競争 *FINISHED*

Chapter 21.

Audrey's POV

My heart was pounding like crazy. It was almost midnight and I actually believe someone is going to kill me if I don't go there. Nobody talked to each other or went outside for the whole time. Or at least I think. Me or Max haven't spoken. I looked at the clock, it was 11:50...close to midnight. Max was probably in the bathroom because he wasn't in his bed. I took my katana and went to the forest. I didn't know exactly where the middle of the forest was so I just roamed around. I wasn't taking the chance of dying so going is the only place left that I could go.

My anxiety kicked in each time I took a step. What if I don't make it? What if I die? What if? All these questions popped into my head. The sky was dark but it was bright enough so I could see where I was going. All I could see were trees and grass. Then I heard a noise, I jumped back and held my katana in a fighting position.  The noise came from a bush, I walked slowly towards it and....it popped out. I jumped back only to see a rabbit pop out of that bush.

It was just a rabbit, wow. I walked farther into the wood and I notice a clear area in a circular shape.
"So you actually came?" Someone said. It was a voice of a man. I couldn't see where he was until a light turned on.
"Who are you?" I ask trembling with fear. As soon as the light turned on I saw Max, but it wasn't the regular Max. He had a red light gleaming from one of his eyes and a sword in his hand, to be precise, a diamond sword. His skin was darker almost the color of his shadow.
"Why are you doing this?" I say. He didn't answer but instead he charged at me, his diamond sword barely collided with my neck but I backed away slowly.

I had to this. If I keep dodging then I will just get killed. I swung my katana but he dodged it easily. He tried to go for my head but I ducked. He took this to his advantage and kicked me. Sending me to the ground. He walked over to me slowly. I got up and positioned my katana in a attacking position. I swung my katana and it only scraped his arm. He tried to hit me with his sword and he did but just a little. I ran over to the opposite side  and charged at him with all my might, he also charged at me.

One person failed.
And
One person is gone.
