Zac's POV:"What? It's only the third time and it's not like it's going to happen again is it?" Layla said to the other girl.
"You don't know that Layla you said the exact same thing this happen last time at the hospital." The other girl said slightly frustrated. "Riley how was I supposed to know the guy was insane and had a scalpel with him while I was minding my own business?" Layla shouted. "Fine whatever let's just get you all treated" Riley said.
"Layla I'm going to have to check your side first since the other two's injuries aren't bleeding as much as yours. You are going to have to take your shirt off aswell." Riley explained as she was getting equipment from inside the first aid box. "Fine" Layla said as she sighed and stood up.
Once she was stood she made her way towards Riley. Well she tried to anyway. I was still holding her wrist. "Sorry I didn't notice that I was still holding your arm" I said to her embarrassed. "It's fine" she said simply.
When she got to Riley she took off her shirt. "Don't you want us to leave the room?" James asked looking at her body. "Its not like you guys haven't seen a girls body before. All three of you have slept with nearly every girl at school. Plus I'm only taking my shirt off infront of you guys for medical attention so dont think anything of it" she said with a straight face looking straight at James.
James went quiet after that and we all just sat there and watched Riley stich up Layla's side. Layla's back was facing towards me and I noticed a large scar going from her left shoulder down to the middle of her back. I also noticed smaller scars covering her body but not that many.
"Are you okay Layla you look kinda tired?" Noah asked. "I'm always like this." She cheerfully answered looking at him with a bright smile. " Alright I'm done. Who is next?" Riley said gaining all our attention.
Before anyone could answer someone came into the living room. "Why do I always run into you when you don't have a shirt on Layla?" Kyle, my brother, asked walking up to her grinning. Kyle knows Layla? "Don't act like you don't love my body. Also it happened once get over it." Layla laughed going in for a hug. "Be careful with her she just had stitches" Riley warned now patching up Noah.
Kyle let Layla out of his grip and looked at her side. "Again, really?" He looked at her shocked. I looked between them confused. Why does everyone know Layla.
"You know Layla?" I questioned Kyle. "Yeah she looks after the kids when me and Riley can't. I've told you about her before remember" he said looking away from Layla and sitting down next to me. "Oh yeah I remember" I said thinking of the time we were at a family party.
The room fell silent as we waited for them to get treated. After a while I heard crying from upstairs. Kyle was about to get up but Layla stopped him. "I'll get them" She said excited. "I'll go with you" I said getting up in which she replied with a nod.
Once we reached their room I opened the door and Kylie, Kalum and Kaleb ( Kyle's triplets) turned to look at Layla who was behind me and stopped crying once she smiled at them. Seriously even the kids prefer her over their relative I feel the love.
"Aww my poor little angles what is wrong?" Layla cooed at them. They all started giggling. "Why does everyone like you?" I ask. "What?" She turned to look at me."Everyone seems to like you even without you trying. Why?" I stated.
She thought about it for a moment before replying. "Just because everyone seems to like me doesn't mean they do. No matter what kind of person you are you are going to have someone who doesn't like you."
"People seem to think that fitting in with what society thinks is perfect means that they are superior to people who don't, which means they will look down apon people who don't fit into that so called 'perfect' image and people who don't fit into that 'perfect' image will envy them and dislike the people who do. So no matter what kind of person you are you will have someone who doesn't like you. So dont think that everyone likes me." She explained to me but before I could respond she spoke again.
"But at the end of the day it doesn't matter if someone doesn't like you. As long you are yourself and happy it shouldn't matter since your opinion is more important than others about you" she explained taking the triplets out their beds. "Plus why should I put in the effort to make people like me if they don't like the way I am from the start" she finished. I just stayed quite and thought about what she had said.
Making our way downstairs I had hold of Kalum while Layla was carrying Kaleb and holding Kylie's hand since Kylie refused to let go of her. That trater, family is more important.
Once in the living room everyone turned to look at us. They were all smiling. " What are you smiling at?" I looked towardsKyle. " You make a cute couple. Also why do my kids look more like your kids then my own?" He questioned laughing.
"Well if your kids were part chinese or korean I could picture it but they arent so i dont see it." Layla said laughing to herself
"And a couple? Really?" ...
