Layla's POV:
Weeks have past since I last spoke to Zac and his gang and it was strangely peaceful around school.
And it's never peaceful. Period.
I stood by my locker waiting for either Bella or Joe. Looking around you could see all the common groups you have at school.
The so called 'popular' group which in reality was group of people they every one knows and hates.
Then there is the 'nerds' who are just people who actually care about their education unlike some people *cough* *cough* Joe *cough* *cough* they also tend to keep to themselves and stay within their group.
You also have the groups like the Jocks, the normals I guess which I kinda fall into, the mysterious group that's you never see around school only in your classes and last but not least the nobodies which technically is the group I should be in but some how I have been freed of my natural habitat into my own personal hell of friendship.
Oh and how could I forget the bad boys. Strangely enough in my school we have two so called groups of bad boys.
On one hand you Zac, James and Noah Who everyone is scared of besides me and that's because I dont care about titles. Plus they havent dont anything worthy of my fear yet.
And on the other you have the wanna be bad boys like Johnathan,Keith and Marcus and another one who is the dumb one of the group that no one remember the name of.
Their group is filled with people you dont want to mess with. You just ignore them.
Unfortunately that doesn't work well for the nerds.
After what felt like eternity Joe turned up. "Hey" I said once he was hearing distance.
"Hi, you ready for class?" He asks as he leaned on the locker next to mine. "Yeah i guess. Im not exactly overjoyed though" I said with a sigh.
"Wheres Bella?" I questioned looking around for her in the mass amount of students.
"Oh yeah she at home sick" Joe replies looking through his phone. "Doesn't she have a dance thing tonight though"
"Well about that...she wants you to do it" Joe ushered out in a nervous voice making my eyes snap to him.
"What?" I asked shocked. "She knows I dont like dancing. She did this last time" I complained in a childish manner.
"I know but you won last time so in the end it all worked out" He retaliated.
Groaning in response I turned and walked to class.
Hours later and it was finally lunch. Quietly I make my way out to my usual spot not bothering to get lunch. Scrolling aimlessly on twitter looking for arguments to keep me entertained.
I was about to sit down when suddenly I'm grabbed by someone.
Struggling I some how managed to kick his ankle causing us to topple over onto the grass.
I felt the grasp that previously caged me in loosen and a groan from underneath me. Scurrying off the person I quickly stood up and grabbed my bag that lay on the ground next to the man who was groaning about his back.
Seeming like he wasnt going to get up any time soon I decided to have a little fun and get a few answers.
Picking up a stick that was close by I began to poke him in side. "Hey" *poke* "Get up and stop being a wuss" I say still poking him.
Suddenly he started to laugh causing me to stop poking him and raise a brow.
"Wuss? Im no wuss" he stated still holding his back. "Well get up and stop acting like one I need answers" I say giving him a final poke.
