Zac's POV:
I turned to look at Riley as I held Layla in my arms. Riley looked like she had saw a ghost she has had gone pale and began to shake. "Shouldn't we call a ambulance for her" Kyle asked panicking.
I slowly lifted Layla off the ground and gently place her on the other sofa. Gently I pushed her hair out of her face. He face covered in red marks turning purple made me want to be sick. Who would ever hit a girl.
"Riley why aren't you helping her she could die like last time. We can't loose her.Not this time" Kyle stressed out. " THIS ISN'T LIKE LAST TIME! I'M NOT GOING TO LET THAT HAPPEN!" Riley shouted.
Looking back at the sofa which I placed Layla on with the angry friends still arguing in the background. "Guys?" I said as I slowly turned back towards the couple.
"WHAT?!" They turned to me. "Layla's gone" I said pointing towards the sofa. Sending Riley into panic.
At just that moment Layla came strolling into the room rubbing her eyes like a little kid eating a slice of pizza .
We all stared at her in shock. "Are you a ducking idiot you could of further injured yourself or better yet died" Riley said running towards Layla then jumped in the air and kicked her in the hip. "Hey is that really necessary I mean I was just tired" Layla groaned back at her rolling slightly on the floor from Riley's flying kick. "Stop going to bed late then I thought you was going to die" Riley ordered.
"Back onto the important thing here, who is this 'he' you are talking about" James questioned. "Its better you don't know" Riley and Layla said in sync.
"Oh yeah Layla when did you become friends with Kyle's brother?" Riley asked turning her attention back to Layla who was still lay on the floor holding a slice of pizza. "His brother? I'm not friends with his brother" Layla questioned confused. "Zac" Riley said simply.
"Zac?" Layla said looking at me. "What about him?". "Zac's his brother" Riley said in a duh tone. "Oh that makes more sense" Layla laughed out scratching her neck.
Once noticing she was lay upon the flood she rose up onto her feet. "Shouldn't you sort your face out" I asked pointing towards her face.
"Well aren't you charming" she said blankly. "I meant-" I tried to explain. " I know I'm just messing with you im fine" she said just walking away out the house.
What just happened exactly? Who is the guy who attacked Layla? All these questions were running through my head.
**A Week Later**
Layla's POV:
It was finally Monday again the most dreaded day of the week. Meanwhile I spent the rest of the week off basically sleeping and watching youtube since I dont have a life.
I sat in silence looking out of Bella's car and she belted out song lyrics. I turned to look at her as the high note began and all that came out was a loud screech that sounded like a dying cat causing me to laugh.
Once we arrived at school me and Isabella headed towards our spot. "Oh yeah you're meeting a guy on Friday" Bella said looking down at her phone. "When was this decided?" I questioned taking my sketch book out my bag. Just as I was closing my bag I was suddenly grabbed from behind making Bella scream, as I turned around I came face to face with the bad boys. Noah and James were crushing me in a hug while Zac just stood there. "Uh Hi" I said awkwardly to then trying to get out of their grip.
"Why are they here?" Bella whispered. "I don't know they are normally not even at school at this time" I whispered back. "What are you guys doing here?" I aimed my question at Zac since the other two don't seem to be letting go any time soon. "Noah and James wanted to make sure you were okay after Tuesday since you didn't come in" Zac answered as I finally returned their hug. " Well I'm fine thank you but can you let me go now you're kinda crushing me" I said wriggling trying to loosen their hold on me while Isabella awkwardly stood watching all of us.
"Oh yeah when did you learn to fig-"I cut Noah off by smacking my hands over his mouth. "Oh would you look at the time it's time for class" I say grabbing Isabella's arm and laughing awkwardly and I sprinted off to Spanish .

Hey guys sorry for the long wait but I had lots of work to do over the christmas break so I didn't have time to write anything. I'm also sorry about this chapter being short and boring but I'm going to try and write more since I don't have anymore exams till March.
