Miles' POV

As I'm calling for Tristan, a figure immerged from behind the stage curtains. I went over by the door to the room and turned on the lights. The room was then crystal clear, and the figure was revealed; it was Mr. Yates.
I wasn't there for Tristan when he was going through all that Yates stuff. To be honest, I can't even think about it. It's gross that a teacher would hook up with one of their students. What's even worse is when they make the student think that they love them. Tristan said that him and Yates were in love. I don't believe it, not for one second. At least, I don't think Yates loved him, not like I do anyways.
All Yates wanted was to hook up, I know that for a fact. Why he didn't choose someone his age is beyond me, but that's not why I'm mad. I'm mad because he fooled Tristan into thinking that he actually cared about him, enough to lure him into his apartment while they do whatever they did. It hit Tris really hard. I spent a good portion of spring break comforting Tristan while he cried and cried about Yates. I never want to see him go through that ever again. Now I'm not saying I'm a perfect guy and will never hurt Tristan, but I know that I'm a guy who doesn't lead others on. I couldn't fake my feeling about him even if I tried. I think I'm talking in love with him, and I don't want anything- or anybody- to ruin that for us.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" I yell out to him, after seconds of just staring at each other.

Yates still didn't say anything at all. After about a minute and a half of silence, I started again:

"What is a pervert like you doing-"

But I was cut off by Tristan bursting into the room through the backstage door. He seemed to be out of breath and flustered.

Tristan's POV

I waited a bit to go inside after I heard Miles yell. I thought it would have been too coincidental if I just appeared right after he did it. But after like 30 seconds of silence, I just decided to walk around to the front door of the classroom. I would have made it seem all casual and like a "I was just in the neighborhood" kind of thing, and then act like I hadn't seen Yates in a long time and be shocked that he was there. However, Miles started yelling again, so I had to spring into action right then and there.

"What is a pervert like you doing-" Miles started to yell at Yates. That is, until I burst into the room like Jackie Chan, only more fabulously dressed.

Miles jumped back, looking like he just saw a ghost, and Yates looked at me with a twinkle in his eye, like he wanted to pounce on me and do what we did earlier. I honestly didn't know what to think or say or do.

We all just stood and stared at each other for a while. It felt like an eternity, but in reality it was only a few minutes.

This was just like my wildest fantasy though. To have two extremely attractive guys fighting over me seemed like something I would like very much. In reality, it was really stressful and nerve wracking. I didn't want Yates to tell Miles that we had sex, but I also didn't want Miles to go all badass on Yates and make it so he never comes back and talks to me again.

"....What are you doing here?" Miles asked semi-calmly to Yates.

Yates looked over at me, and my eyes told him not to say anything to Miles about what happened. Yates then finally replied to Miles.

"I came here to collect a few of my things from the drama room, and then I was off on my way. I would have already of been gone, but someone turned the lights off, and I left my cell phone in my car, so I had to tip toe and try to get over to the switch in the dark. I obviously failed at that, because I got caught up in the curtains, and then you showed up and turned on the lights. So for that I thank you. So I guess I'll see you guys around". Yates said while stuttering slightly.

He turned back around to speak

"I mean, obviously not at school, since I'm suspended from teaching, but maybe around town or something. So yeah, take it easy".

Miles was so confused as Yates started walking off again, but not until he looked at me, winked, and gave me the "call me" hand gesture (behind Miles' back, of course). Miles and I didn't say a word to each other as we walked out of the room and went to class.

I received a text from Yates while in class that read:

"Will I see you tonight? At my place? I think you remember how to get there. ;)"

I hesitated at first, but then replied:

"Hell yes. See you then, Grant. <3"

I hope I know what I'm getting myself into.
