girl meets replacement (part 1)

Josh POV

No i can't, i can't tell her that i have change because of her, i can't tell her that i still like her, i don't want her to think that i'm weak.

Josh-"my story, well my story is that i-i....I mixed with the wrong friend and here i am" i said as i tried to lie yet i could see that she looked at me as if she could see my soul and my lies.

Maya-"i have known you for so long that i knew that those words are lies, Josh it just me Maya Hart, you know so well that you could trust me"

Josh-"well that is my truth, belive me or leave me"

Maya-" fine"

Maya stood up and left the place without a single other word.

Josh-"wow, she know me better than i thought."

(Time skips)

Josh POV

I was on the subway thingking about what i said to maya, i can't lie to her now i guess, she looked like she even knows the truth.

After a few min at the subway i saw a very familiar face,

Josh-"Ava is that you?"

(Ava was Josh girlfriend at high school, they broke up because they went to different collage)

Ava-"Hey Josh, it been a long time since i last saw you"

Josh-"sure has, sinior year prom remember?

Ava-"Yes that was the last time, where are you going anyway?"

Josh-" i'm going to the my brother's place you wanna join, i mean we can also catch up you know," i said with a smirk.

Ava-"sure, i would love to join you"

On the way to the Matthew's, we catch up alot, but some how i felt like i was cheatting on Maya even though we are not together. Weird isn't it ?

(Time skip)

Maya POV

I heard a knock on the door, i ran up to it and open it and i was sook to see Josh there with a girl? who is she? his girlfriend?

Maya-"hey i'm maya"

Ava-"hi i am Ava, Josh ex"

Maya-"Well you seem nice" i said as i rolled my eyes at them.

She introduce herself to everyone and  finally it was time for dinner

Topanga-"dinner is ready,"

Maya-"Topanga, where is Riley? i didn't see her all day beside this morning."

Topanga-"oh, she didn't tell you that she is on a date with Lucas and she will not be home till 12 am or more, she is going to the movies with him at 12am."

Maya-"No, no she did not"

I turn and looked over at Josh and he was laughing with Ava, well they seems like a nice couple.

I sat at the dinner table and Josh and Ava was beside each other.I sat and ate all my food.

Topanga-"Ava why not you sleepover our place for tonight, I mean it is getting late."

I looked at my plate and just keept quite,i knew she is going to ask her that.

Ava-"sure i would love too" she said as she looked at me and rolled her eyes while she smiled.

After i had finished my dinner Topanga pulled me into Riley's room

Topanga-"Maya, i need your help for tonight."

Maya-"what is it that you need?"

Topanga-"i want you to sleep at the living room tonight, i know that since Ava is sleeping over, Josh would sleep with her too to accompany her but he knew that i won't let her sleep in his room so he would surely sleep at the sofa bed outside. All i need you to do is too sleep at the other sofa to make sure that nothing happend between them, okay?,"

Maya-"sure, but what would i say if he asked why?"

Topanga-"just say that i asked yo to do so"

Maya-"fine" i said as i took the pillows and covers from Riley's bedroom and brought it to the living room. Topanga was right, Josh and Ava is getting ready to sleep together at the sofa bed.

Ava-"what do you think you'er doing?" she said as she rolled her eyes at me.

Maya-"Topanga as me to do so"

Ava-"fine, fine whatever"

She sat down at the sofa bed and pulled Josh to sit beside her, Josh saw me staring at her action and he smiled at me but not in the evil way, just the sorry way. I looked and him and i smiled as i lay down on the sofa turning the other way so that i would not face them. Josh stood up and switch of the light and went to sleep beside Ava.

I turlly felt so dissapointed and sad by how he is treating me, i never stoped loving him, i never got into a relationship with anyone because of him. Stop it Maya, stop loving him, he never love you it all a joke, he say it before he never even understood the long game. His with her now, she will be his long game. If he still loves you he would fall for you in the first day he saw you again like how he first saw Ava ,and now it looked like he loves her, i was gone, i was never even in his mind, not even once.

I felt tears burned my eyes but i started crying when i heard her said

Ava-"i like you Josh"

Josh-"i like you too"

Suddently i heard a loud buzz, "shit" i said as i knew thay know that i am still awake, they suddently stop talking and looked at me as i picked up my phone

Maya-"hello?" i said as i tried to sound as if i was just awaken from my sleep

Nash-"hey Maya, you asleep?"

Maya-"it is 2:15 am Nash what do you think?"

Nash-" okay i am so sorry, it just that i can't sleep and i hope that you can come over"

Even though it was dark, i could see that Josh was not happy to see me talking to Nash, but hey if he can hurt me, i can hurt him too right?
