girl meets that someone (part2)

Josh POV

i watch as Maya walked away, i than call Riley

(phone convo between Josh & Riley)

Josh- hey riles

Riley- hey Josh, whats up

Josh- did Maya told you anything about me?

Riley- um.... no, but she was acting different just now before she left

Josh- like how?

Riley- well....She was upset when she knew that you're going to be our neighbor and she suddenly wanted to meet Shawn after that.... Is everything  okay?

Josh- um yeah, kinda....Wait Riley, why do you think Maya is doing all this?

Riley- doing what?

Josh- hating me

Riley- i think you should ask her that, not me Josh

Josh- okay fine, talk to you later Riles

Riley- bye

(end of phone convo)

i than came out of my car and walk to Maya's parents apartment to ask her what was going on

Maya POV

I ran out of Josh's car and went up to my parent apartment

(at the front door)

Maya-"hey fam"

I said as i walked in. Shawn was sitting on the sofa.

Shawn-"hey Maya," he said as he stood up and hug me

Maya-"hey dad" i said as i hug him back

Shawn-"so, what do you wanna talk about?" he than walk over to the dining table and sat down

Maya-"well, Shawn....I need to talk to you about something serious, is that okay?"

i looked at him in the eyes with full if seriousness.

He than gave me the same look

Shawn-*sigh "so, what do you wanna talk about Maya?"

Maya-"well you know how we all know that we are so alike,"

Shawn-"yeah..."

Maya-" well, I need to ask you what should i do if th-"

I was cut off by someone bursting open the door. It was Josh

Josh-" Maya, i need to talk to you"

Maya-"Josh, why are you here" i said as i stood up and walk over to him

Josh-"tell me what is your plan"

Maya-"what plan"

Josh-"you're trying to do something, tell me please "

We got closer to each other

we than got interrupted by Shawn

Shawn-" hey, calm down people. Why don't you boh come here and sit down"

He said pointing at the dining table

Maya-"fine"

All of us than sit down

Shawn-"so Maya, what were you going to ask?"

Maya-"let talk about something else, it not important "

Shawn-"Maya....just say it"

I turn my attention to Josh and the both of us mada a strong eye contact

Josh-"just say what you were going to ask Maya, it only me, you can trust me .... you know that"

I than trun my attention to Shwan who was looking at us

Maya-*sigh "Shawn, why can't i forget someone who has hurt me and even tore me apart? why can't i move on from someone even after 3 years of not seeing them? why can't i just see some other people and fall in love with them as deep as i fell in love with that someone?"

i said as i looked at Shawn in the eyes, pretending that Josh wasn't sitting beside me and putting a few seconds of silence

Shawn-"to be honest, i kinda saw this question coming " he said with a giggle, breaking the deafening silence

Maya-" you did?"

Shawn-"you'er in NYU, what was i suppose to expact?"

He said looking at Josh who was sitting beside me. He than looked at me with seriousness

Shawn-"look maya.... We all have that someone, someone who we will always love even after they tore you apart, even after they left you. You know why?"

Maya-"why?"

Shawn-" because, that someone is your first"

Josh-"what do you mean by first?"

Josh interrupted our father daughter conversation

Shawn-"they were the first person that we fell in love with, the first person we gave the trust to either love or break us .Right Maya?"

He said as he looked at me

Maya-" yeah"

Shawn-"that someone will always leave a mark at out heart, and no matter what, you can't erase that mark"
shawn than held my hand

Shawn-"tell me guys, have you found that someone?"

He said as he looked at the both of us

Josh and i turn and looked at each other

Josh and Maya- "yes we have"
