Maya's POV
Riley-"yup....It Josh"
Maya-"Riley are you serious?" i frown
Riley-"Maya, you should be happy"
Maya-"no i'm not happy Riley, this is not what i want"
Riley-"than, what do you want? Maya, what id going on....are you okay?"
Maya-" no i'm not, i- i just need to go and meet Shawn for a while"
I ran out of our dorm room and ran to the school entrance and i suddenly felt someone pull me wrist. I turn around and saw Josh
Josh-"Maya, i need to talk to you a-about, um just now "
Maya-" Josh i need to go"
Josh-"please, if not can we just talk about something else.... Like, do you know that i am you dorm neighbor now" he said as he rubbed the back of his neck
Maya-"yes i know, now that we have talk, can i go?"
Josh-"where do you wanna go, i could send you"
Maya-"it okay Josh, i could take a cab"
Josh-"no it okay, i could send you. You don't have to waste your money"
Maya-"Josh i'm serio-"
He cut me off
Josh-" please, just this one time"
Maya-"fine"
Josh and i walk outside to his car,
(in the car)
Josh-"so, where do you wanna go?"
Maya-"just bring me to my parent apartment, the one that you went last time"
Josh-"okay"
He started driving
I than dial Shawn phone number
(Phone convo between Shawn & Maya)
Shawn- hey kiddo,
Maya- hey dad, can i come over your place?
Shawn - of course you can, and i want to tell you something too
Maya- okay, i'll be there in about 15min
Shawn- okay kiddo see you soon
(end of phone convo)
Josh- "so, is everything okay?"
Maya-"yeah, i'm fine"
I looked down at my hand
Josh-"you sure?"
Maya-"yeah i am"
Josh-" Maya, we need to talk... about us"
Maya-" what about us Josh?" i than looked at him
Josh-" about you, me and Ava"
Maya-" fine than talk" i turn and looked out at the window
Josh- *sigh "look, i know what i said just know was wrong but i really need time to move on. I didn't mean to hurt your feeling, but i really do love her and i hope that you could understand"
*a few second of silence
Josh-" Maya, please say something"
Maya-" we should be at my place in any minute right?"
Josh-" yeah, we are here"
He stop the car and lock the door
Maya-" what are you doing, i need to get out"
Josh-"you are not going anywhere until we talk about this"
Maya-" Josh please, why are you doing this to me?"
He than unbuckle his seat belt and turn around to give his full attention to me
Josh-" Maya, tell me what is going on... Why don't you want to talk about this?"
Maya-" because, there is nothing to talk about, can you unlock the door now"
Josh-" tell me what do you think when you heard what i said about Ava, please"
Maya-" why do you wanna know?"
Josh-" because i want to be the person that you talk to when you have problem"
Maya-" i think that is Riley's job"
Josh-" yeah it is, but i could be your second Nash, you know someone you could tell your problem with and won't judge you for it"
he said with a smirk
Maya-" you won't understand me"
Josh-" yes i will, and just like Nash, i will be there for you"
We both stare at each other eyes so deep that we can see into each other soul
Maya-" can you please stop it"
Josh-" stop what?"
Maya-" stop acting that you will be there for me and than just leave.... like everybody else i know beside Riley, Shawn and Katy"
I looked down breaking the eye contact as i tear up
Josh-"do i always do that?"
Maya-" twice "
Josh-" Maya, i'm sorry"
Maya-" it okay, i'm use to it"
Josh-" don't say that, can you please tell me on you mind"
*few minute of silence
Maya-"look....I just think that it not fair"
Josh-" what is not fair?"
Maya-"i-i just don't want to talk about it"
Josh-"please Maya hart, tell me"
Maya-"i just think that it not fair for you to be so in love with someone who you only dated for 2 month but don't even think about that someone who love you for 6 year even after you left them. I just think that it not fair"
i said as i try my best not to break down infront of him
Josh-"i didn't mean to hurt you"
Maya-"i know"
Josh-"but it a lie if i you say that i didn't think of you. After the kiss, the only person i thought about is you, i left because i don't want to hurt you"
Josh-" I got back together with Ava because i was trying to stop thinking about you so much but than i fell in love with her...I'm sorry"
he than tear up
Maya-" can i go now?" i whipe my tears
Josh-"okay"
He than unlock the door
