Maya POV

I went inside Riley's place with Nash and every ones attention were on us. Josh, Topanga, Cory , Auggie and Riley was there.

Riley-"where heve you been last night? i was worried sick!"

Maya-"calm down Riley, i was with Nash's place and i fell asleep"

Topanga-"you guys did not, you know, do anything last night did you?"

Before i could even answer Topanga, Nash said,

Nash-"No we did not do anything, i swear to god"

Josh were still quit seting on the sofa with his eyes full of anger.

Maya-"Riley ,where have you been last night?"

Riley-"i was with lu-"

I was sock when Josh stood up and shouted

Josh-"IF YOU DID'T DO ANYTHING WITH NASH, THAN CAN YOU EXPLAIN THIS PICTURE!"

everyone was in silent.

Maya-"why do you care, have you ever even care. I have nothing to explain to you"

Nash-"i think i should leave"

Maya-"No Nash, you stay"

Nash-"No maya. Remember fight okay"

he said as he got closer to me before he leave

Josh-"fight for what. For both of your relationship" he than rolled his eyes at me.

Maya-"Josh can you please stop it, i told you we are bestfriends okay, and you have Ava anywhays"

Riley-"Guys, i think we should leave them alone"

Topanga-"yeah, i think we should get some fresh air outside"

Cory-"but i want to watch this dramatic momment"

Topanga-"i will buy you ice-cream"

Cory-"okay, i will get the car"

Cory ran out the door and Topanga, Auggie and Riley walk outside and closed the door. Josh and i sat at the sofa and just sat there in silent.

Josh-"why did you kiss him?" he asked in a calm tone after a about a few min of silent.

Maya-"we were drunk"

Josh-"why?" he looked at me deep into the eyes.

Maya-"well ,he can't sleep and i was stressed"

Josh-"why were you stressed?"

Maya-"because i was in a fucked up situation"

Josh-"oh, but you just kissed him, nothing more right?

Maya-"yes Josh, but really, why do you care anyway?"

Josh-"i don't know i just do. What dose that kiss ment to you?"

He said as he finally broke our eyes contact and looked down at his feet.

Maya-"nothing really, i mean we are just friends and we were drunk"

Josh-"oh"

Maya-"so how was sleeping with Ava went, i mean before she went back home"

Josh-"we are just friends Maya"

Maya-" well, friends don't tell each other they like each other"

Josh-"so you heard?"

Maya-"i did, and Nash was just in time to call me last night"

Josh-"so you were jelouse?" he said with a smirk

Maya-"no, i just fell like i needed someone to talk too last night and Riley wasn't there so...."

Josh-"you can talk to me you know that right"

Maya-" i can't because you don't understad me like you use to, you are the new Josh. Can i just asked where is the old Josh?"

Josh-"he is long gone Maya, the old Josh is dead"

Maya-"and why is dead, did someone shot him"

we both giggle and finally Josh looked at me in the eyes

Josh-"i told you the story before Maya, remember, Central Park?"

Maya-"i do remember, i also remember that i walked away because i knew it was a lie, now tell me the real story.

Josh-"than you won't think of me the same way again. Don't you feel bad for me?"

Maya-"please Josh"

Josh-"fine. (*took a deep breath) I tried my best Maya, to forget you, but i can't. I change because of you, it always been you. When i saw you and Nash together i got mad and that is why i got wasted that night." he looked at his feet and sat at the sofa in slient.

Maya-" why did you tried to move on"

Josh-"i saw so many picture of you with Nash and i thought that you had move on.  But when i knew you were just friends with Nash, i feel like i should not hang on to you that long because you know, i never called, text or visit you. I thought you hated me."

i just sat there in silent as i was still shock

Josh-"i am so sorry Maya that i made a stupid joke about the long game, can you forgive me?"

Maya-"i don't know Josh, i just, i can't belive you"

I stood up and left

Josh POV

what! she can't be mad at me for telling her the truth, i told her i am sorry, what else dose she want. Why is she mad at me, i know it not about me telling her that i tried to move on, because she dose not looked mad at that momment. But she dose not looked happy when i told her that i thought she hated me, is that something i should not say. What should i do?
